If you're after Reacheresque mayhem you're in the wrong place (but you'll probably still enjoy this).
The film avoids simple, obvious, immediate violence and instead builds tension throughout. The cast works well with a spare script to complement the cinematography. The film is engaging to watch with strong camerawork and lighting.
It is a bit long but in my opinion, that's not a bad thing and none of the time is wasted.
Aaron Paul and Anna Robb are well cast. He fills his character with hinted at danger but also a cool, tactical head. She portrays fear and determination in equal measure.

An accurate retelling using original vocabulary and ideas. If you've read the books then this will not disappoint. Strong acting, great cinematography and natural look that harks back to Laurence of Arabia.
Too loud by far.
This is a film you will need and want to experience more than once.
As for comments about boredom, I can only say that the film requires the audience to participate l, as any good story should.
Worth the wait.
