Good Cop Bad Cop grabbed me from the start. The Hickman family dynamics are genuinely entertaining and meaningful, making even the lighter moments feel worthwhile.
While realism takes a backseat (understandably, given the comedic nature), the humor lands perfectly-I haven't chuckled this much at a show in ages. A refreshing and unexpectedly delightful watch!
Elaborating on the character dynamics - their interactions are not only entertaining but also meaningful, adding depth to the story and making even the lighter, more comedic moments feel worthwhile. You genuinely care about these characters and their connection to each other.
So many shows & films these days rely on cheap gags or predictable setups, but Good Cop Bad Cop manages to be genuinely funny without resorting to these tired tropes or forcibly inserting it into scenes.
It was a refreshing and unexpectedly delightful watch, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lighthearted and entertaining show.

I'm a fan of the Harry Potter books and flims. Watched and read them many times over and it still feels so magical.
This film portrays the magical world as such a dull world. No one is smiling, no one is doing anything worthwhile, there is nothing magical about it.
Any magic we felt in in the early Harry Potter films are strangely not part of this world.
So much kerfuffle that the main characters went through to actually achieve nothing. The unique strategies they executed could have any been number of other strategies.
The non-main characters who are supposedly important in the wizarding world are happy to just stand around during the most important event in the wizarding world and just do... nothing. Simply watching some randoms interacting, without any input.
It's dull, it's empty, it was a waste of time.

Without giving away too much, it's a classic style of story which has been done hundreds of times but The Terminal List executed it brilliantly. Believe it or not, the characters are intelligent - It's refreshing when the plot isn't driven by stupid choices made by the characters. Also, action scenes aren't littered with people running out trying to get themselves killed. I don't have real experience with military coordination but this was one of the best display of it, albeit a little one-sided.
Personally, one disappointment was the final item on the list, it felt unnecessary.
If you like action shows with some intelligence, it's a must see.
