Like most reviews... good beginning but pretty strange movie overall. Wants to be a Ted Bundy/Silence of the Lambs type movie, but really needs an editor to cut out all the crap scenes and just get to the point.
Honestly, it was playing and I kept not paying attention and needed to go back to see what I missed. That only happens when I'm checked out. Prob should have just shut it down after the first 40 min or so.
I suppose these are the new horror movies now... reviving old plots and wanting 2 hour run times. Oh well. My advice- find something else that is not made by a steaming service- steamers don't seem to have the balls to tell directors they need to edit.

The first season was cool- wildcard times and general food challenge that normal people eat, like burgers and whatnot. Second season the put standard timers on each round- host started acting like a smartass and the had these oddball dish "ideas"...
Keep it simple and you win. Get all "chiefy" and you're going to lose viewers.
I did like the up and comers on the show to teach viewers who the new cooks are... seems like they were brining on some older FoodNetwork grinders to maybe pick up viewers ??
Look at season one and get funny people on show who want to make an impression with viewers! Best of luck- I'll check season 3, if it makes it.

I want my $20 bucks back. My in-laws were excited for this. We purchased (don't- wait until it's free in a week or two). I watched an hour and was so bored my the ridiculous dialog, and just overall... blah; that I left and watched Terminator: Dark Fate (not too shabby)- my wife and I'm-laws finished it.
When I asked if it got any better- I spent another hour hearing about what a letdown it was ect.
It's just be honest- it's a vanity movie. It's a story of divorce and mental issues- that's cool for some, but I think most were looking for an Amazing Stories level show... not a 2022 buzzkill.
Leave it be and go watch E. T.
