Just out of the movie and left feeling meh. No heart or passion to it at all,no build up to a crescendo that had me cheering. No chemistry on screen between anyone and then Mr Terrific comes along and acts like top billing, the man was faultless. The comedy was so badly placed it was ridiculous. We finally get some action to feel like we're actually watching Superman and some pointless joke takes you of the scene altogether.
I grew up with Christopher Reeve and i genuinely believed he could fly but our current iteration can't convince me he can walk unaided. We got one good flight scene that ran straight into some bad CGI ruining yet another moment. Im gutted after seeing it I'm just so disappointed.

I'm sorry but in what world is this movie a (current) 6.1?? I've seen better acting from my kids, the script must've been written by kids too because it's borderline hilarious for a drama. Such a great premise but from the outset it's ridiculous it's over acted it's just strange because it would've been easier to get it right. A woman on the edge with a sick child sets itself up for a Breaking Down style movie but nah instead they just go from silly scene with terrible acting to the next. Im sick of great ideas going to waste and Tyler Perry needs to take a big step back and ask why this mess was passed as a release when taking a day off was an option.
An incredible series of movies culminates in a decent final showing.
With so much to feed from, the throwbacks (and there was many) just didn't hit pack any emotional punch for me. With a run time of just shy of three hours it felt more like a constant mid point in any given movie. A plethora of characters all given their moment to shine but none stood out in any way worthy of mention.
The action had an over 2 hour lead up and it was as good as they say but at this point in the movie it almost felt out of place, what felt like a drama now became an action movie and then back to drama.
It's a good movie and worthy of the ticket price, the sound design alone and the stunt sequence justifies that but as a stand alone movie it's a 6.5 for me and anything above that I just can't fathom. A movie for the cast and moment for the fans is how I'd describe it.
