Impossible to watch in anything but a pitch black room. The film is so dark. Questionable casting of the young boy, or maybe i think this due to the corny script. Historical inaccuracies in regards to the Iron Maiden. Very cheesy writing, it probably would have been considered a good film in the 80's. Very dated and all be done before. Not scary at all. Wouldn't class it as a horror. A waste of money. The idea of the devil is cheesy at best but this is like a fantasy movie. It relies on shock value of a kid saying sexual things. The score didn't feel impressive either. Regret paying a fiver for it.
A really lovely, quirky film about coping with stereotypical adulthood as a creative person. The message and the metaphors are clear and I wish more people would accept these types of films. Not everything has to have a realistic and literal outcome. If you're smart you will understand the messages within this film. The acting and script is great and I think it deserves more credit.
This film deserves so much recognition. I cried through so much of it. Every single actor and actress displayed such talent. The emotions of the film were raw and the message inspiring. I believe this film is an important instrument for educating people. Epathy. Rights. Human understanding. The structure of the film was perfection. It was not predictable at all.
