Isleen Pines is quite a bit better than your average indie horror flick. There's a somewhat large scale here, with the story switching back and forth between 3 different places, and the lighting is really well done. There's a good chunk of gore, although a large portion of it actually plays during the very very ending of this film, which makes me hope there's a sequel coming because this movie was good enough and interesting enough to warrant one. The acting is mostly good, not as stunted as some from indie movies I've seen, and the alien design is pretty cool. Worth checking out, and a good movie for Halloween season rewatches.
All rave and no real depth of storyline. The classic cars were just being to flashy and not enough charming characters. Just dead beat hero-wannabes with big guns. Almost like a Michael Bay movie.
Soldiers of Embers is as entertaining as a dying giraffe. The film doesn't really do anything original or creative. Instead it just does the same type of bland action story again!
