This is a very silly movie, in a good way. It's a nice stoner comedy, as in, its not about stoners, but its fun if you're a stoner. This movie stuffs in so many clichés and sterotypes to the point of ridiculousness, and that's the point. If you are in the mood for harmless fun, this is it. We have enough serious dramas with gore horror movies, lets watch some home appliances get it done instead.
That said, don't expect dramatic character arcs or introspective dialogue, because you aren't going to get it. This movie isn't trying to be something its not. Frankly, i wouldn't be surprised to see it become a cult movie in the future.

You've seen most of this before, brutality, revenge, rich people. I liked the cat and mouse chemistry between Keaton and Q despite the age difference. A good throwback feel.
This movie sucks. It's received a lot of attention in the horror community so I thought it be a fun little gruesome ride. It's not. It's pretty sad garbage. Unless you really hate women's bodies, then I suppose it's for you. There's may be 10 lines of dialogue in the whole 90 minutes, but what's in between lacks any sense of story, humor, or entertainment. If the creator had put half as much effort into making it funny, subversive, or interesting, as they put into Art's look they would've hit it out of the park.
It seems like the majority of the bad reviews here are taking their anger for Beinoff for Game of Thrones out on this movie. It has great action, a cool story, wonderful locations, and a great performance by Smith. The locations were actually one of the highlights for me. There was one fight scene where the digital work was a little too obvious, but other than that, a solid action film.
I suppose there is a great story behind this world, but you won't find it here. Not sure how this world came to be, glossed over motivation, and the screenplay needed an editor. I've seen video game storylines with more depth. My partner and I spent too much time asking each other questions - Who is this? What is happening? Where are they? Just could have been a whole lot better
So this is a different take on the origin story. Instead of how Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel, its mostly how Vers found out she was Carol Danvers & why she's now Captain Marvel. Other than that, it's your standard Marvel movie: action, humor, music, teamwork. I cringed at one specific song choice in what could have been a great scene, but other than that, the soundtrack was killer, plot that's a breath of fresh air, and Coulson!
I have zero patience for so called reviewers whining about historical accuracy in a WWII re-animator film. C'mon folks. This was the right kind of fun, a mix of intense action, stealth gameplay, and B-movie goodness. Do you like Saving Private Ryan? Do you like Resident Evil? Do you like Wolfenstein? Than this movie is for you!
I thought I was in for an action packed, over the top action film. What I got was a shockingly corny wooden action film. Was this directed by Uwe Boll? The acting was either wooden or over the top. The scene between Angela Bassett and Henry Cavill is one of the most wooden & unbelievable scenes ever. The dialogue through most of the movie was a mishmash of cliches. At the end, I just couldn't care about the plot device characters, the boring twists & turns & unbelievable yet predictable story turns.
