Officer on duty has been on my pending watch list for a long time. The Movie is well written and directed by first time director jeetu ashraf, who is also an actor. The Casting has been perfect. Boban & vysakh nair both have acted well. So as the other supporting actor. Action scene are well coreographed especially the one in hospital and preclimax fight. The bgm is apt with the screenplay. And was surprised how it kept you hooked until the very end. It's one of the better films that has come out of mollywood this year. Especially the police investigation genre.

Will be keen to watch out what jeetu ashraf does next.

Movie had all the marking to be a cult. The suspense was really good, the bus chase sequence was of international quality, the babuetan today shop fight ( one vs 8)scene was insanely shot, and that brilliant climax when it all unravels.

The only point where the movie falters is the scene involving basil joseph in police station where it could have been written better with some witty dialogues. All the actors have played their part well. Overall it ends as a Good descent watch. But a big shout out to this movie's director who is technically very gifted. Will be keen to watch what he does next.

Movie is a good thriller and gets you hooked towards the last 30 min, when u feel the story is going nowhere. Good acting by the lead actor and the actress playing his mother ( who came back to cinema after a long gap). The other supporting cast have done descent work, bgm is ok, and enhances certain scenes at regular intervals , action is not much, as there was not much scope for it, camera work and other technical aspects are well within the benchmark.

Overall a good suspense ride , which your whole family can watch and have a good time. For the budget they had they have executed a good viewing experience.
