As a huge fan of crime and mafia/organised crime dramas, this is as good as it gets. The writing and plot is first rate and totally believable in every way and a great study of people and power or the quest for power.
We all know the USA series The Wire or Breaking Bad are great dramas or Gomorrah from Italy, but that was a totally gripping 6 episodes as I have seen.
The casting was brilliant with all the lead characters fully rounded and the twists and turns had both of us on the edge of our seat especially the finale.
With that very clever ending I can't wait for series 2 as soon as possible.
A special mention for the lead actor playing Michael who was absolutely brilliant and although at first glance did not seem a complicated character he was very complex and nuanced.
A real triumph of a British drama so well done BBC.

I am a big fan of Police/crime dramas and so many are lauded as "great" like Hill Street Blues or Homicide life on the streets or True Detective or NYPD Blue and don't get me wrong they were all amazing TV shows but......
True Detective season 1 was out if this world but the general opinion is seasons 2/3/4 are not as good.
We Bosch and now Bosch Legacy are as good as it gets with each season as good as the last if not better.
The writing is next level as are the plots and Numerous twists with our hero constantly in trouble with his bosses and yet if they need a detective, who do they call. The show gives us really good police and legal procedures and thought processes which just add to the drama.
The ensemble cast is brilliant with each character adding a different viewpoint for both work and their complex personal lives.
For me this show should get far more plaudits and awards and could be used as a Blueprint in how to write a tv show.
I'm sad the last season of Bosch Legacy is just dropping but I'm currently rewatching all the first 7 seasons of Bosch for the 4th time as it's so good.
Finally a huge fanfare for the lead actor Titus who is just off the charts as he navigates around deadly criminals and cynical lawyers whilst still being the maverick unorthodox good guy.
A big 10/10 for this show and to the writer Michael Connolly for sheer perfection.
