I watched the movie in the preview and they changed it according to our votes. I gave it seven stars out of 10 there. I gave 5 stars here just to support the team. You have to be honest. They really tried something very different in the movie. In the first half hour, you watch a standard murderer movie, just like in the trailer. But after the first half hour, a completely different structure emerges. I don't want to give spoilers, but I can't decide whether that change is good or bad. It could have been a very good Agatha Cristie story if the standard story had continued. But after that change, the film becomes full of political undertones. I still can't be sure. But it's a good movie.
How could they spend so much money on such a big project and make it so bad? I will say that the movie was rushed, but how can it be rushed when the man himself narrated his own life? Maybe that's the problem. The story should have been told by an outsider. There is no conflict in Mahsun Kirmizigul's story. He made a movie like watching an old birthday video. For those who remember the nineties in Turkey, prestige music was a very tabloid topic. But the life of the company was short. As a matter of fact, this movie also had a short lifespan and no one remembers it anymore. Nobody watched it in the theater. It was immediately sold to Amazon Prime. I don't know how it was watched there, but I'm sure everyone who watched it regretted it.
It's a film set in a single location that sets the atmosphere well. The lighting was very good. Costumes and space design looked professional. It can be a good example especially for low-budget teams who will shoot their first film. But the script is ordinary. After watching the first half hour, you can guess what will happen in the final. There are no visually big scenes in the film. No impressive actor performances. There is nothing to wonder. I watched the film to the end because I didn't want to leave the film halfway. The friend next to me asked me to turn off the film, but I finished it. If you don't have a better option, it can be watched.
