It would have been much better if Russell Crowe just talked the way he normally does. He totally missed the Italian accent and sounded more like Hercule Poirot, and it was quite ridiculous and funny at the same time. But on the other side, he was kinda suitable for the role with his "crazy" eyes look. The movie itself was just another generic exorcist movie, nothing new or special with it. Special effects and CGI was terrible and looked very cheap. The movie is filed with stupid and bad decisions, and it seems like that stupidity is a necessary ingredient in movies in this day and age for some reason.

Just all over the place. Constant jumping between drama, mystery, love story, classic soap opera and on top of that bunch of annoying spoiled brats. There was some good acting, but mostly bad and overacting. Just bad and pretentious piece of crap imo.
