  • Funny, but.......has the potential to become boring fast

Funny first episode, I just wonder how long this remains funny.

Deliverance is fast-paced, so one might not 'get' or 'spot' all the jokes. Humor, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder of course. I enjoy animation and I enjoy humor/comedy, so they're off to a good start.

Will be watching the second episode for sure, and hope it remains

  • Complexity simplified

2 Episodes in I must say I like it.

Take complex issues and simplify them by sticking to broad strokes, things people can follow without it getting technical.

Or, explain how a rich person came to be in a funny way.

The diversity of the first episodes was interesting, the presentation also not bad.

All in all, not something to look forward to, but an occasional episode of 'something else', something light.

Big Conan fan, not amused with the new format.

That Conan has a midlife crisis and tries to change things up, cool. But that set isn't really nice. Bring back the desk! And 20 minutes, that's way way too short.

  • I don't getr it......

Am 4 episodes in now and have no clue what I am watching and what to think of it. Scenery is great, acting is great... that's not the problem.

    It lacks something.....

  • Not impressed

Being Dutch I am not impressed at all with people who smoke weed or whatnot, and don't really see the connection between their problem and them smoking weed.

Having watched the first 3 episodes, I can't say I am impressed. Actors are mediocre, story-line is (or feels) disconnected, characters are sometimes really unlikable, overacting is a problem.

It all feels a bit cliche.

  • An 8 on IMDB, seriously?

The show itself is a bit of a feel-good series about a 40-year old man turned cop who gets to (of course) bang a 28 year old from training academy.

Naturally the 40 year old is considerate, moral and wise man...... not like 99.9% of the 40 year old divorced men who are generally out of shape, bitter and depressed.

The stories are of course typical police stories, but this show sees a lot of super-unrealistic gun-fights and unrealistic situations.

  • It must be an American simplicity thing...?

I tried a couple of episodes, and don't really find this funny.

Usually people who are sober don't really find drunk people funny, but people who are drunk find people that are equally drunk funny. It's like global rule.

So I decided, crack open a bottle of Whiskey. Watch it. Still not funny, and the history lessons get confusing.

Personally, I can't win with this show. Luckily many others do. Enjoy!

  • Mediocre comedy

Overacting seems to be the 'new' hip thing, next to exaggerations. Its all a bit awkward, has potential but doesn't form into anything, it's all a bit forcibly funny.

  • Great series!

Watched Season 1-4 and loving it.

The only problem, I find, is when Elba acts emotional it seems very fake. Other than that, he is a powerful actor and surely a good candidate for the next Bond!

  • Excellent show! Rainy day binge-watch worthy!

I personally find the rating a bit low.

This is an excellent show with good old British humor and Swedish stereotypes.

The story-line is a bit flimsy and there are a couple of mistakes ( example, an email address is spelled out with Yahoo.se and the next episode yahoo.com), nevertheless it is an easy to watch and compelling show. Characters are well played and recognizable.

    Give it a shot!

What a great show, binge it!

House of Cards was like a Michelin Star Restaurant, with Chef Spacey.

    Season 1-5

Exquisite dishes, delicious.. Ingredients, rare combinations of the finest. Prepared by a master, with passion.

    Season 6

A soup-kitchen dish. Tasteless, odorless and a bad aftertaste.

That what you get for firing the chef.

  • Brilliant, wonder if a movie would have become classic

Top notch acting, top notch story, top notch everything.

A black-comedy drama of an unusual tale in an unusual setting.

  • Lovely Show Lovely Concept

Vets and Pet Whisperers, or animal psychologists, try to correct bad or odd behavior of pets.

Based on the first episode, a lovely concept. Easy to watch. Educational. Funny. Will be watching more!

    ..........Oh yes......

The tattoo dude (nice guy) who clearly has been lied too by family, friends and producers, being told that his tattoos look good and he should show as much as possible ginger-chest to 'add' character? Can do without that dude!

Other than that, keep up the good work!

  • Promising Sci-Fi fumble

Lovely concept, which could be great. But will be a fumble to most after two episode

Each episode has such a clear structure that one notices the repetitiveness of it.

    1) Troubled person in the reverie, stuck 2) lead actress Enters reverie 3) lead actress Exits Reverie 4) lead actress Enters Reverie again 5) Problem Solved due some 'uninteresting exception' 6) Troubled person wakes up 7) Everybody happy

I have just written a spoiler that is technically not a spoiler. Unique being able to do that.

Furthermore, it lacks dept, it's very flat and doesn't seem to have a subliminal message, or a strong character development.

  • Stand-up Jim Oliver :-)

Well, we've got Jim Jeffreys and John Oliver sitting, so Hassan does it standing.

Comedy can't really be rated, but I really dislike long fast rants.

Together with Michelle screaming Wolf, this will end up on the bottom of my watch-list.

  • How Hasan Minhaj messes up a movie

A truly mediocre comedy, that could be rated a 6 if it wasn't for the extremely poor acting skills of Hasan Minhaj.

Since its a comedy the story line doesn't matter, the script doesn't really matter, the most important is the comedic aspect. Which is present, but feels forced and isn't natural.

A good movie for a rainy Sunday, when you've finished picking your nose or have a serious flue and need to not pay attention to something.

  • A Scrubs placenta?

Based on the pilot, I don't know what this is supposed to be and not so sure if I like it all that much.

Surely a good recipe for a mushy feel-good show, but somewhat ludicrous. A farmers market in a Hospital Lobby arranged in no-time, a jolly Doctor/Director who just walked in fires an entire department on his first day.

It was all flimsy at best, and a wee bit corny. Perhaps simply not to my taste, which Scrubs absolutely was.

    Update:

Yeah, much of the same. Overly dramatic situations one after the other and too much heroism. I get why people may like this, it's a corny feelgood show. Not for me though. You enjoy it.

  • Tom Selleck turned in his grave, and he isn't even dead yet!

    What utter, utter, utter garbage.

This deserves a #HeToo movement, i call rape, abuse. Magnum PI has been bend over and abused like a choir boy at the Catholic church.

That bold dude, a good actor, who got killed off in the Pilot had the best deal of all. The rest must continue for god knows how long?

Strongly worded this review? It is, don't judge me for it though, I dare you, watch 1 episode. Unless you're below 17 years old, then you might like it.

  • Horrible

We can be really short about this.

Script.,not funny. Acting, disastrous (especially by that Asian gentleman).

I wonder, It is supposed to be a feelgood-sitcom? Or just more content, because content is needed?
