  • A classic comedy french movie

"Qu'est-ce qu'on a tous fait au Bon Dieu?" (2021) continues the lighthearted charm of its predecessors, delivering a classic comedic experience with a modern multicultural twist. The film skillfully blends humor with its exploration of cultural diversity, showcasing the quirks and dynamics of a large, mixed family. Its setup, rooted in misunderstandings and cultural clashes, provides plenty of entertaining moments. While it doesn't stray far from the familiar formula of Italian-style comedy, the relatable characters and clever dialogue keep it engaging. Some jokes hit harder than others, but the film's heartwarming message about family unity and acceptance shines through. A delightful watch for fans of the series.

  • Nice Animation with a little too much music

Vivo is a delightful and heartfelt movie that exceeded my expectations in many ways. The film's vibrant animation and catchy musical numbers create an engaging experience for viewers of all ages. I particularly enjoyed how the story introduces various twists and creative approaches to the main quest, keeping it fresh and unpredictable.

The emotional depth of the film surprised me, especially when it was revealed that the little honey monkey, Vivo, was alone in the world. It was a touching moment that added complexity to the character and set the stage for a meaningful journey. The film handled this aspect with care, making Vivo's bond with the other characters feel genuine and impactful. Overall, Vivo is a moving tale about love, loss, and the power of connection, wrapped in a colorful and entertaining package.

  • Long, but pleasent

    It's a mix of sensations.

The film doesn't hide what it's going for, it's clear about the objectives of the "bad guys" from the beginning, you know perfectly well where it's going, you know that there will have to be a detour so that the bad guys don't laugh until the end.

In other words, up to a certain point (and this point is very close to the end) you know where the film is going and what the contours of the film will be like.

I admit that in the end I was surprised. I expected a big cliché when it comes to characters redeeming themselves and correcting their mistakes. But it didn't happen. The characters remained real to themselves. The way they decided to tell the end of the story was an interesting and funny novelty that takes away some weight from the story.

The film is long, but it looks good, without any major dead moments. Prepare your bladder before entering.

  • John Wick, not much to be added

Let me start by telling you this: spectacular scenes, great outfits, amazing pictures. This is what this movie has to offer.

The rest? Not so much. Too much fighting scenes , not believable, not relatable, not even to the point of character development or changing throughout the movie.

Lots of expected scenes (my friend even guested the final scenes, not being a bit surprised)

Even the plot is striped down, super simple to guess. The dialogues are blanked, you could watch this movie without any dialogue and 90% of it would make sense.

Not much of lines to memorize, to make memes, to take to your life. Some friends of mine went to watch this movie, not even a Instagram story, not even discussing the movie in the end.

Oh, and it has a post credits scene, of about 15 seconds. Not much, but take that information with you (because most of the room had already left the theater)

  • Entertaining and somewhat great

I must say it's not the greatest masterpiece of all time, but given that it's a second movie, I guess people will not be disappointed because they already know what they will get.

It's a good movie to enjoy without much hassle... It does not have any major event happening that changes the goal, and will certainly not be a surprise in the end. Still, enjoyable, with some funny moments but without being too exaggerated.

If you can, go with the flow and don't create to much expectations. You can laught, you can enjoy the movies without needing to think to much about the details.

    For sure a 6 out of 10.

  • Predictable, small argument but poorly explored

Well, after seeing the trailer I should not have the expectations very high... I mean, the argument is truly very "small" in a way that you kinda know (sort of) where the movie can go or what will be the plotline. Still, I went to see the movie because I was expecting some great twist, given that the movie e very straightforward. Well, let me just tell you that you can clearly see where the movie is going, how is it going to end, and even the most dramatic / thriller parts are cut short...

Well, in the end, it's not the most extraordinary movie, but still you can have a small but enjoyable afternoon. But do not expect nothing of the other world.

  • A great story of a great war

Uau. This movie impressed me by the emotion it brought without needing the Hollywood drama or exaggeration. It's impressive how a small story with such a simple storyline has made me so attached with the plot and the characters.

1917 is about war times, but without the need for a intense hero which will bring peace to a continent in war. It can even show you that enemy is strong and more ballistic advance than the hero-country.

The only only thing I found a bit "exaggerated" and perhaps a bit biased is how the main character is somewhat naïve and hero-behaved, while the Germans are designed as all bad.

Yet, this movie is a great movie, with a simple storyline but completely worth watching.

  • It - the comeback of the horror clown

It is a great movie. As a fan os horror movies, i find this one extremely entretaining and with several horror scenes, although some of them loose some intensity, which makes it sometime border the comedy (despite clearly not beeing a comedy movie) Overall i really enjoyed the movie, and even though i have not read the books, i would guess its a fairly good adaptation (i do not remember someone writing othewise)

The only thing i would change it's the end. I did not feel the end was good enough for me to classify this movie as an amazing One. I think the end will dissapoint some of the fans.

  • The masterpiece of 2019

Joker is a magnificient masterpiece, and I want to start this review by congratulate every single person that made it possible.

The scenes were great, the cut-offs were extremely well executed, the music was increrebly well fitted to the scenes and the acting was flawless. Even the scenes with less action were captivating and full of tension, so much that I went to see this movie in the evening, and even so i did not felt tired or full of sleep.

Joaquin has made what some thought Impossible: to build such a complicated character in such an amazing way, on what it seemed with no effort at all.

The hype is real and I strongly advice everyone to go watch this movie.

  • Remembering the past

As I was scrolling the reviews of the movie, I was on shock about all the negativity and crítics to the movie... I loved it. Yes it's not the original no, and I must say that there are some parts that I remeber from the original that would bring and extra Edge to it (for instance the talk of rafiki with Simba it's a lot diferent, and the "live baite" was given a twist I did not wanted -because it would remind me the original version)

Other coments here talk about Simba caring for nala while runing from the hyenas, which i did not remember, but actually was important for criating empathy with the future King. This is actually a Petty, because Young Simba looked a lot like a careless and pretty arrogant without these small details.

Others state that the movie was all about Beyoncé... Trust me on this, i think nala is extremely close to the original version.... Although I must admit the "spirit" music seemed like "let's give her One more Song"

Overall the movie is very good, close to the original version, some details are adjustted, but fit well in the story, and it helped remembering a Simple past.

  • Spider-Man: Far From Awesome

I can honestly say that I felt a bit dissapointed with this movie. It seems the directors have Taken the "comedy" part a bit to far, but somwhow with a few jokes working along the movie. The "villain" does not look like a villain at all, not even after his "true" identity os revealed - and somehow his powers are beeing a super ilusionist - which on my opinion kiils every vibe of the rest of the movie. Spider man.... I can believe he is a naive caracter, but once again the directors have driven fast - even on the scenes that were expected a little more sentimental - it felt fake.

In my opinion, this movie felt short delivering it's true potential

  • good balance between jokes, superhero acting and fighting scenes

Let me just start this review by saying that I'm not a "spidey" or someone that follows the comic books of spiderman. Actually, I haven't even saw some of the previous spiderman movies, and therefore please consider this in my review.

I must say, after watching wonder women and being a bit disappointed by the story, this movie comes as a very nice one.

I think this movie is extremely well balanced between jokes, action, plot, characters, sad moments, and overall an enjoyable movie. Sometimes, during the movie, I thought that the inexperience of spiderman came as exaggerated, but then I remember that is perfectly believable that a 15 year old boy with some powers and a super costume would act such way. Therefore, even the childish jokes are well fitted.

  • Zootopia raised the bar for other movies to come!

This movie was great! I thought this movie was not going to be a very good one, simply because the trailer was all about the DMV scene, so I though this would be the only funny part about it. But I was wrong. One thing I loved the most about the movie is that it has a great rhythm: I mean the scenes are fast going, they don't lose to much time.

Another thing I found great was that everything was connected: no loose scenes. For instance,(SPOILER) saving the small mouse had an important consequence in the future; the acting scene in the beginning was connected with (almost) the last scene. I thought this was great.

Overall, incredibly well made movie, which provided entertainment to all the family.

  • Balanced between hideous and fun

Although I haven't seen lots of Tim Burton movies, I think this time he nailed it. for instance, compared with Edward Scissorhands, this movie was much more enjoyable.

I must say corpse Bride can be enjoyed by the all family: adults enjoy the jokes made and the plot keeps things interesting till the very end (I found myself surprised by the twists and turns); kids enjoy the fact that is scary, but at the same time with good catchy songs.

I watched this movie on Christmas day (because someone decided that this movie would be Christmas appropriate), but it was worth it. I strongly advice you to watch it, and I believe this movie deserved a higher grade.
