Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp in Nosferatu (2024)

  • Sink your teeth into this version

This film did a very commendable job bringing the legend of Nosferatu back to the silver screen. Nick H. Is wholly believable as our lead character, not knowing what he's got himself into when going to visit Count O. On business. The trip to reach the counts Castle is well shot and crafted. Some of the scenes are just absolutely visually stunning. The real interesting part of this movie is the performance by Lily. Johnny Depp's daughter has got some acting shops to be sure. Also, the work of the make up team, set design, and costume Departments all need to be mentioned and applauded. The movie grabs you from the opening scene and doesn't let go until the ending. It is well constructed and it is worth your time to go and view it. Job well done all around and a respectable addition to the vampire canon of movies overall.

  • Ok, it wasn't that bad....

Ok, it wasn't that bad... Lyndsey F., did a fine job as the mother going through the gauntlet of emotions. She has been a solid actress since her days on Nikita. It is nice to see her spreading her acting range and playing a more mature character in this film. The problem is the sheer stupidity of the daughter and the boyfriend. The actress playing the daughter is decent, but the script is a bit far fetched. The movie serves as a cautionary tale on multiple levels. Keep an eye on your daughters moms! This is one of those movies you have on in the background while you are busy cleaning the room.

  • Lack of....Climax

I wanted to like this movie. I watch a lot of foreign films and enjoy them. I like thrillers and horror movies. The first 42 minutes literally is just them dancing in a room as the camera just works around the various dancing and people interacting. Then it just keeps getting more and more bizarre. Then supposedly they're all freaking out. The acting is subpar. Some of the actresses are 110% over the top with their acting and their body movements. I've never rated a movie this low before, but this absolutely deserves the one star. Do not waste your 90 minutes on this. There is a dumpster fire. There are lots of other great thrillers that could be watched in its place. Kick it old school and watch Jamie Lee Curtis in prom night or terror train. Try an Agatha Christie film. Wait Until Dark, or something from the Scream or Halloween horror lines. How about Friday the 13th? Perhaps the new Jodie Foster HBO series set in Alaska. Anything But this movie. Thank you.

  • Are You Sure?We are sure we love it!

Jimin, aka Mimi, and JK, aka Baby Star Candy Bunny, set off on a series of adventures in Connecticut, USA, Seoul/ JeJu Island, South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan. Every episode is such a delight and a pure serotonin boost for the soul. Truthfully, the chemistry that these two have together is both magnetic and powerful, and they are such nice and humble young men. Their charisma and charm is undeniable, and it is delight to be third wheeling, and watching them exploring nature, a city, and interacting with the locals. It is another glimpse that they are given us into their private lives before they enlist into the military. This is a treat for fans and casual observers like. This is a wonderful travel show, and as JK stated, I hope they do this for the next several decades until they hit the age of 50. You can't look away because they are pure cuteness times two. Bonus points when guest stars pop up that you surely will recognize if you are a fan of BTS. This was the brainchild of Jimin, and it is a wonderful present . Are you sure? We sure are! Keep up the great work and we will keep enjoying your exploits around the globe. Dive in for fun and adventure with this limited series.

  • Jump On Board For The Ride!

Jump on board for the ride. Series starts slow, establishing the key characters and their connections. Stick around as things heat up for the back episodes 5-6-7. Evin and Sean anchor the series and are believable as a couple in both good and bad times. Just when you think the obnoxious neighbor is that and only that, we find layers. To keep it fresh, the show is set in Spain, which gives it a decent international flavor while grounding it. Evian is more than up for both the dramatic and action scenes. Think older more mature Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristol in Alias. Excited for season two. Lots of room to grow and kick butt! This looks very promising.
