  • Flawless

I've been looking forward to this film for a long time, and it doesn't disappoint at all. It's the kind of movie where the performances carry all the weight. Ricardo Darin as always was superb, but also Alejandra Flechner shines as the prosecutor's wife.

While the film has the familiar structure of a trial movie, everything is executed flawlessly.

Merits aside, the whole technical section, from minute zero, is absolutely surprising, the budget is noticeable. I recommend watching it on the big screen, it is unmissable to see the audience's reaction throughout the film. It'll probably be on of the five nominees at the Oscar´s for best international film.

  • Not what I expected

I read some reviews about this film, and i was prepared to watch something unconventional, i'm open-minded to films that are not structure on a traditional way. I tend to like weird films more than the usual films. Nevertheless i can say i couldn't vibe with this one.

The acting was always good, i have no issues with that, but the story (never boring btw) never amazed me. It was just OK.

On the other hand, the technical aspects of the film impressed me a lot. It's not perfect at all, you can see it's even bland at some parts. The cinematography was good, the editing sometimes really good and sometimes clumsy. The visual effects, a main protagonist in this film, was good and mediocre at the same time. But it amazed me the fact that with more effort, Indian cinema can achive greatness in this aspects. They need a push, but they are definitely on the right way.

    Greetings from Argentina!

  • This is gonna become a classic for sure

I have watched some korean series (like six or seven) and i kinda have a good time with them, but there´s always that something that doesn´t make me aprecciate the Korean series that much. It´s always ok... ok... ok... and just that. There was this one series (apart from Squid Game) called Extracurricular that was in my opinion the best one among all i´ve seen. And I thought i will never find something else. Until Woo Young Woo came... and conquer after just one episode.

Now i´ve watched 10 episodes and I still enjoy it a lot. It´s not like it´s impressive the storyline, but what it has to offer, it delivers perfectly. Kudos to the main actress.

  • Really good

I thought a series without Jumeko Jabami wasn't a good idea, but i have to give credit to the potential Mary Saotome has as a character.

There are only 6 episodes, but I think somehow I enoyed this more than the original version. My question is how this is gonna fit the main series? I'm intrigued.

  • So good!

I cant help but watch this series over and over again. Its so addictive. I remember the first time i tried this series i was like "what is this? Its so weird and they speak so fast and i cant understand what the plot is..." but i kept with it, and now is one of my favorite anime of all time. Once you are accustomed to it, everything flows so good!

What its funny also is that at first I gave this series a 6/10. Then a 7/10 for years, but today i have to give up to the series and give it what it deserves: an 8 out of 10. A classic.

  • I loved this but...

I really loved this, the story is just so intriguing. Just by the synopsis you just want to watch. It´s so enterteining but so shooort!

That´s why i gave the first season a 6 out of 10 because i want mooooore!!!!!

It barely looks like there was much enough to make me feel full.

It's just cute. The kid is a true survivor. Nevertheless i do think it lacks content to be really interesting.

I dont know if I want another season, but at the same time i don't regret having watched it.

  • This should be added to the list of the best animes

I´m just gonna say this: I´m not a person too invested in romantic series, becasue they all are prone to be cliché, tedious or so soup opera -ish. But this one, this one is one of a kind.

You believe everything you watch, even if the plot is surrounded by arcade games, which is a risky choice, but they blend perfectly to the story.

I could have cried watching this anime, for sure a lot of people did. It´s so cute and heartwarming!!

  • My review

    1) The most important thing is that the series is watchable.

    2) It's an anime but made in China. I'm so use to listening in Japanesse that is weird in Mandarin but you'll get accustomed.

    3) The plot is really interesting, something that reminds me of Saiki K anime, the guy that has enourmous power but doesnt wanna make a big deal of it. But in this case the main character is really careful cause if his full power is realeased it may cause the end of the world.

    4) The story telling is weird I think, the plot doesnt flow naturally sometimes.

    5) It's entertaining, you wanna keep watching episode after episode despite the flaws. It's something that may bother some people, but it doesnt ruin the final product.

It's the first time i've watched an anime from China, I think is good enough to say that they have potential to develope some interesting series in the future.

  • Very very interesting

I know that League of Legends exists as a game, I´ve never played it before, but this series is not meant to be to have that requirement.

Really entertaining to watch, it´s not epic, but considering how everything goes on the first season, I can imagine turning into an epic series on the future. Give it a try, it´s easy to digest, it´s short, it doesn´t have flaws. Everything is perfect.

Btw, just to clarify, i give this a 7 because that´s what I think it deserves accordin to the story. Let me tell you that the first season of The Last Airbender was a 7/10 to me, and at the end it was a 9/10. Arcane has so much potential to reach that level.

  • Predictible but enjoyable

Despite how predictable was the plot, I watched it in two days. Well done!

BTW, wtf with those VIP characters at the end, they were obnoxiously cringe. Bad acting or they made them on purpose?

  • A must watch

The series is really short so give it a try, you would be on the last episode without realizing. Great acting, characters development, directing. Everything was on point.

I must say I´m a little conflicted by the ending, it finished a little bit open in my opinion, I mean it´s really probable some people would say "oh that was good, where´s the second season?". It hasn´t got another one so and it doesn´t need it. But at least they should have added 10 minutes more for a definitve closure.

  • Finally a superhero movie I can enjoy

I don´t remember when was the last time I got out of the cinema so satisfied after watching a superhero film. In fact, I ended up avoiding them for a long time. But I´ve read the reviews and I was curious. BTW, I´m from Argentina so I´ve read reviews from here of course. They are not Marvel or DC lovers, so the unbiased opinion was granted.

It was so worth it! I liked the film a lot. I gave this a 7 out of 10 because it wasn´t innovating at all, but everything was so well executed that amazed me at some point. This James Gunn guy is undeniably talented.

  • How on earth...

...this series have more than 8,5? The plot is so bland. It started very promising with this female lead character who was about to be the new president of the family company without the support of most of her relatives but her father. And then the tragedy happened... And started the boring plot of the girl landind in North Korea by accident. That also seems interesting to watch, I mean its North Korea. But no, its not what I wanted it to be. So unworthy to watch.

  • Not an instant classic, but a classic at the end

Of course I´m aware of the original sitcom Married With children and that humour it had that it was so bland, like a family comedy you know. What can you expect from that right? You just had a good time and maybe good memories watching that series with your dad and mom.

Then we got the argentinian version of it. It´s really impressive what they did there. At first you have literally the same bland series as the original. The jokes were lame, the acting so narrow, like a picturesque reflection of the original. But then something happens, the writers knew that wasn´t the kind of humour they wanted for the adaptation and decided to take a leap to a real and believeble kind of jokes: local jokes, spicier, smarter... funnier. Right there, at that moment you have what has become in an instant classic, surpassing the origian. Even the character development did a full 180.

My advice, just avoid the first episodes and go to episode 37. Thank me later.

PS: fave character, Maria Elena, oscar-worthy.

  • For the time being...

The only worth watching season is the first one. The storyline is simple but super effective. I find the first 3 minutes of the series the best reason to give the series a try. The second season lack of development in my opinion. It felt rushed, the characters weren't as endearing as in the first. It's good, but is like what happened with the second season of Stranger Things: we know is good, but the first one is so much better.

  • Outrageous!

The case is shocking, outrageous and devastating, but the storytelling was way too slow. Several times I got impatient because of that. They focused a lot about the feelings which was something I also didn't like it, I mean, I'm not a robot at all but the film tried so hard to be moved. Gabriel MRIP!

  • Quite impressed

Despite I think gloryfing a robber isn't right, the film is actually pretty good. I'm impressed about the director's skills, I know his previous works and this is by far his best film to date. "La odisea de los giles", which was also about a heist, was released few months ago. That one was good, but I reckon "El robo del siglo" is better, isn't it?

A film for the masses, that's what i'm talking about. It's not just contenting the critics but the people. And this movie is a great example: great critic reviews and a great acceptance by the public. Don't lose the opportunity to watch it at the big screen, it's worth it.

It doesn't have those depths it had with "El secreto de sus ojos" but it's still a remarkable, funny and very well directed film by Campanella. You leave the cinema with the idea of having seen a very satisfactory film.

  • Without the battles you have a very-well-done movie

What amazed me most was the story behind what it seems to be the most important point of the plot: the battle between Broly and Goku & Vegeta. The battle is nothing different as we have seen so far, but the story under the mess is pretty interesting. I have to say the first 50 minutes of the movie worthed the cost of the ticket (those minutes, by the way, were without goku and vegeta´s intervention)

  • A great moral about friendship

This movie was directed by Mariano Cohn (well known for co-directing "El ciudadano ilustre", a movie I enjoyed a lot un 2016) and was hilarious, funny, sad, dramatic... plenty of feelings combined. Brandoni delivered a great performance, he is basically the movie, even if he doesn't appear at the screen. With this movie time goes really fast. Pure entertainment.

  • This movie is amazing

Seriously, this movie is one of the best horror films in years. It was a great and scary surprise when i watched on the theatre (i never except nothing of a horror movie). I hope this movie can be released in other countries, it worth it. By the way, the plot did not answer all of the questions the movie created, so I am waiting for the second part. Please producers and director, do not let me down.
