  • Very decent!

Max Landis by all reports sucks as a person, but his writing is at least unique. This isnt as good as American Ultra, but enjoyably similar in tone.

Some hits and misses but a very serviceable action rom com that you don't see done often nowadays, and you see it done well even less.

I don't love Sam Rockwell in general but I have a big soft spot for Anna Kendrick, both do great in their roles here, playing both to and against type at intervals in the story.

Entertaining supporting cast with familiar faces like Tim Roth, James Ransone from Sinister (Deputy So and So), and famous-creepy-guy-who coincidentally-reminds-me-of-Sam-Rockwell Michael Eklund. Also RZA makes an appearance, I love seeing him in movies so I got a kick of out that as well.

Its the kind of movie both you AND your girlfriend will probably like, but neither will probably love.
