I felt the need to add my two cents in a review because I was flabbergasted at the 5 rating. Then I read some of the reviews on here. "Unrealistic" "Hollywood is dead" really? It's not that serious and there have been many recent films we will not name that fit those narratives more than this.

This is not the best action movie-neither is it the worst. This was a fantastic watch where I felt everyone involved brought their best game. Ms Davis was as incredible as she usually is as a war vet turned US President. (And no she was not some unstoppable girl power killing machine) Viola's character had flaws, regrets and felt fear in the face of overwhelming odds. Anthony Anderson who usually does comedic roles was fantastic as the supportive and grounded First Husband. Finally Anthony Starr brought his A game as the villainous mercenary who one could relate to his motives.

Nothing about this movie was unbelievable. It was a decent sit at home popcorn flick with plenty action and a little heart mixed in. Are we at the point in society where we can't even pretend a Black Woman could hold the office of President? Believe it or not there are real life badass females in our Armed Forces. Get over it and get a life.

The people responsible for making this filth and the people who actually enjoyed this filth are absolutely demented. The was beyond shock value. This movies purpose I suppose was to see how vile, how disgusting, how demonic a product can be. It gets no worse than this.

No plot. Just senseless gore. Children and gore is where I draw the line. The first two films had a certain charm and humor that I welcomed. It was good to have another iconic character to add to the slasher genre. But this... absolutely not. Please don't make a fourth film. The ratings are not a surprise. This generation is cynical, unfearing and blood thirsty.

I have never seen a trashier, more pointless use of extreme gore in my life.
