This is a very emotional movie filled with great actors and performances.
It serves as a commentary on the state of Bulgarian music but it showcases the struggle of musicians in general.
Like a lot of Bulgarian movies, it uses nostalgia and the theme of cultural change from communism to democracy but it's done really tastefully.
I think it pays homage to other movies, like "Orkestar Bez Ime" but it's vastly different from it.
My only complaint is that it felt short on some story threads and character development.
