Do you have multi-millions of dollars to do a TV series based on a movie based on a video game that requires mass amounts of CGI? No? Then shut the eff up!
The Knuckles series had just the right amount of Knuckles, but also made sense to focus it around Adam Pally's character of Wade.
He was a staple of the first two movies, yet a secondary character. It just makes sense, when doing a spinoff, to focus on him as well as Knuckles. Both were secondary in Sonic 2, so, boom, main in the TV show.
I have watched all 3 movies before watching the show, and I can say for sure that the show fills in that sweet spot between 2 and 3.
I'm 49. I played the original Sonic and almost every iteration of the game since its inception. Guess what I'm not going to do?
Complain that something isn't accurate becuase...blah, blah, blah...if you are one of those people, I really and truly do feel sorry for you.

The people of Azerbaijan have zero sense of humor or understanding of sarcasm or American humor. No one was putting down your country of Azerbaijan. In fact, it was more a dig at us Americans, many of whom would have zero idea of where your country actually is. I understand humor is subjective, but they even adress the fact in the movie that when it's said wrong, that it's not a real place. Again, it's not making fun of Azerbaijan, but the stupid Americans who would beleive it is. It's a shame that that is not understood by Azerbaijanies. I think if it were explained to them, which hopefully I am doing, they will understand that it's an American film making fun of Americans, not Azerbaijanies. Hope this helps. Cheers.
