We really were not expecting this. Described as a 'Dark comedy' which probably the first few episodes were, but then it went into full thriller mode with high school and prison drama.
I can understand the 18 rating with graphic violence and lots of blood but thankfully not so graphic sexual acts.
Definitely not for children. There's revenge, self discovery, bullying, misogyny, bullying, loneliness, betrayal, parental relationships and society's judgemental attitude's especially online.
Good character building and direction with back stories given black & white treatment or year subtitled. Script and storyline is pretty good with unexpected twists but some scenes needs reality check like many horror or thrillers.

Came up on Netflix when searching something to watch for the evening. Running out of good new Halloween movies/dramas del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities. It's a Polish horror film. First Polish film I've seen as well. Kept the original audio with subtitles on sat back with some snacks & wine. Well it's surprising good, atmospheric and dark with a few good gut wrenching scares.
The story is kind of predictable but there's enough suspense, drama and tension to move it along at a good pace. Some use of cgi but not in your face and adds to the narrative. The acting is good and the direction too. It was certainly entertaining and above average to the horror titles that Netflix has to offer.

Psycho Hannibalesque serial killer, high security mental asylum with various characters, and an army of masked heavily armed men (and a woman) trying to get the serial killer before he spills the secret of someone powerful. I binged watched it and totally enjoyed it. I still can't get into the original Money Heist (The Korean version spoilt it for me 🤓) but this got me hooked from the start.
The only annoying thing that it is supposed to be a mini series but ending sets it up for another. Hopefully they will make it. Too many drama series ending without giving them a finishing that they deserve eg Marco Polo (Netflix) and Warrior (HBO)
