This is a classic! Great comedy from George Burns in both roles! The story leaves such a good message with the viewer, that it's hard to forget this film, even now, 37 years later. See it, it will stay with you.
I haven't reviewed a film on Imdb in several years, but this one is worth a few words. First of all, I found the writing to be very good, full of wit and timing. That's what impressed me most... that and the acting of the lovely Lorrisa Julianas. I was so pleased when I found out she was the writer as well. Low budget, yes, but the writing is what elevates this film. Please don't be thrown off by the ridiculous low ratings, it's actually pretty good entertainment.
Very surprised by this film. Wasn't expecting much, but really have respect for Will Patton and his ability to morph into any role. The story was very believable and the acting was involved and pretty driven. The standout role was by Mark O'Brian as Chris. Will Patton plays his father that gets dragged in to a dangerous situation that his estranged son has brought home. Good thriller that really has you rooting for the "good guys."
