  • What were they thinking!

Why Ólafur Ólafsson, Siobhán McSweeney and Eric McCormack agreed to act in this project! Maybe they saw Horowitz's name associated with this series and thought it was guaranteed quality. Such a waste of talent!

The production was horrendous! The set of the plane crash was from a B movie, plastic plants never moving by the wind and very few insects and animals. That was no jungle!

I also cannot fathom how they couldn't find proper Spanish speaker actors in Texas. There were two or three of them that were disastrous. That was taking the audience for granted.

So many inconsistencies that I don't know where to begin... The plot twists at the end were so absurd.

It was fun in a " I cannot believe this is so dumb" kind of way.

  • Two stars too many

But I have to acknowledge the visuals/ CGI work. One star for that. They were too good for this project.

The other star is for the Zodiac Love Council. Although many signs were missing, and some had very little to say (Trevor Noah, a missed opportunity) or very stupid lines (Sofia Vergara, another misused actor). That should have been the real movie!

The rest was a trippy musical, meme material, nonsensical movie. I fast forwarded a lot because it was cringey most of the times.

This Is Me ... Now: A Love Story, is a vanity project of the highest order. But hey, she envisioned it, wrote it and paid for it. Good for her!

  • Everybody: it is COLOMBIA not Columbia!

"Missing" lacks the novelty of its incredibly clever predecessor "Searching" , but it's entertaining enough. In this film, a technically savvy 18 year old girl is looking for her mother, who went on vacation to Colombia with her new boyfriend (and didn't return home).

The movie is very well edited, hence it is fast paced, which in turn doesn't give you time to stop and think of the implausibility of some twists and turns.

Nevertheless, it is well acted, especially the main character June (Storm Reid) and Javi (Joaquim de Almeyda).

All in all it is a fun movie to watch and play online detective .
