Best known for his portrayal Yash in the 2015 Hindi movie Yash, Raj aur film, Ajay Raj Tomar is a well-known film, TV and theatre actor. Born in Delhi, the actor completed his schooling and joined the University of Delhi to do his Bachelors in Commerce. He then went to Bharatendu Natya Academy (B.N.A.), Lucknow, for his Acting course. Ajay was part of the RAS theatre group and featured in several plays. After a stay of 2 years in B.N.A., Ajay had a brief three months course on Film Appreciation and Film orientation from Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.

The actor then shifted his base to Mumbai to pursue his dream of acting. He made his first screen presence in the film Pakauu (2012) in a small role. He portrayed the role of opposition party leader in the 2015 comedy movie Jai Ho! Democracy. In the year 2015, he made an entry into TV series with Life OK’s Ek Nayi Umeed Roshini as Dr.Shekhar. The year 2015 was a game-changer for Ajay as he did his first lead role in the movie Yash, Raj aur films.

He then appeared in the TV series Life, Lafde Aur Bandiya as Utpal in Bindass TV and Majhi Renuka Mauli in Saam TV. He portrayed the role of male court staff in 2019 comedy-drama Khandaani Shafakhana. In 2011, he appeared on a TV show Hansi Ka Tadka in Mahuaa TV, where he won a prize amount worth five lakhs for the Best Actor in Doubles Performance with Paritosh Tripathi. Recently He was seen in PrimeFlix OTT platform's web series ABKI BAARI, BIPIN BIHARI with Vinay Pathak. With his experience as an actor and theatre artist over ten years, Ajay worked as a drama teacher ad also conducted production-oriented children workshops in several schools.
