An excellent portrait of the lifetime of lead women's rights and culture activist, one of the best song writers and singers of our day. This was not a dry documentary but an emotional fun and serious movie about a person, a time, events which happened, places we know and music we know but I at least erred on who was the writer and what was the true meaning behind the songs. A Canadian and Native American icon. I have recommended it to my children for their children and to schools saying this should be required reading!
It covers not just the life of a person but of an erra that had shaped our lives today.

Excellent movie about very positive topic worth a 7 or 8 but the English subtitles were not on the Arabic thus the best part of the drama are lost. I did not see this was a comedy but a serious and excellent drama. I recommend the movie but am most frustrated that at the lack of translation.
The movie is about an excellent topic, immigration, hard work, success through perseverance. The best attributes and the best recognition that immigrants around the world are positive for their new countries. It is a movie to learn from and recognize that life is not easy, life is harder for many around the world that our lives in North America, but life for all can be positive for all.

The best i have seen in a very long time. Watched 3 episodes a night after the first two and Can not wait for season 2. This had spice, humor and made sense, almost always, especially if you have lived with both Americans and Europeans.
