  • Poor attempt at bringing Tintin to the big screen

Spielberg - like all his other works - has a tendency to write and /or approve screenplays that either deviate far the original story, or deviate from the real truth. The Adventure of Tintin is the former.

So disappointed with this screenplay and the level of direction. The whole movie seems like a really cheap imitation of Georges Remi's original work of art.

Stay away from this atrocious rubbish of a "movie". If you must know Tintin, buy the original comic artworks.

  • Excellent

This movie is on par with the Japanese series of the same name that was aired in the 1980s around the world and captured the hearts of million of international viewers.

A beautiful story told from the perspective of a poor girl who struggled during the early decades of the twentieth century in Japan.

This is what a movie is about: it should ignite our thought process, ignite our emotion and make us feel alive, and make us totally captivated by its storyline and characters.

This is one the reason why I have permanently departed from Hollywood's propaganda-laden and braindead, psychologically reinforced rubbish. What Hollywood called a "movie", everyone else around the world called rubbish. Start watching Japanese movies like Oshin and you'll know why you need to get away from Hollywood.

The only time I would watch a Hollywood piece of rubbish is so I can review it and recommend everyone to stay away.

  • Lame B-Class movie

If you ever want to see an extremely lame lemon of a movie, then Independence Day is for you! Americans love to salute, or at least like movies with heaps of salute. But this "movie" takes saluting to a whole new level with many amateurish salute moments - and the salutes were so bad and corny that you don't know whether to laugh or cry!

As usual, America is always the hero - even against extra-terrestrials (sic!) - while the rest of the world just don't know what to do with E.T. until America show them how (sic, again!). This is why the standard of American movies have gone from good (The Maltese Falcon) to extremely brain-dead rubbish (Independence Day) in just a few decades.

What was Jeff Goldblum thinking when he signed up for a role? Ran out of cash, perhaps?!...
