International locations, customs and cultures that differ from the standard ubiquitous Americana found in other series...what's not to love? I'm seriously disappointed that the network is not renewing FBI: International. To make matters worse, they ended the series on a cliffhanger that would take them out of Europe! Why, oh why?! At the very minimum, at least bring the show back for a truncated season. It's a bad decision that ignores an entire segment of viewers who are beyond bored with the bland offerings that remain. It really does appear that streaming services are the only place to get one's international itch scratched. And everyone laments the decline of network TV. Insert eye roll here.
I have a general rule of thumb...I will generally continue watching a show if there is at least one character that I want to root for...one...just one. Is that such a huge ask? On "Good Sam" there isn't a single person that I want to spend any amount of time with on this show. The leads? They are so markedly annoying it's like being in the worst Zoom team meeting. The one that leaves you wanting to pluck your own eyes out. I'm done. This show is not a keeper.
Started watching this because of the BC Okanagan location (once again doubling as "Sonoma"), my love of wine, and the fact that the main winery location is about a three minute drive from my mom's house. I continued watching because I frankly liked it. Yes, it's not perfect by any means, but Laura Osnes and Juan Pablo Di Pace elevated the film above the voluminous repetitive dreck that Hallmark has been churning out recently. I especially liked Juan Pablo Di Pace. I don't recognize him from anything I've seen, but he plays earthy and charming very well. I'll look forward to him in other roles (not necessarily Hallmark...sorry to any die-hard Hallmark groupies.)
