I could have made this movie in 10 minutes-and it would've been better. The acting was flat, the direction made no sense, and the story was almost nonexistent. Scenes dragged on endlessly, testing everyone's patience. A few people even walked out, and honestly, they made the right call. I stayed, hoping it might redeem itself-but it never did. Yes, there was a moral buried in there somewhere, but it was hardly worth sitting through the lifeless slog. I hate movies that take two hours to make a point a Benjamin Franklin quote could've delivered in seconds. I'm more impressed when a quote makes me think for hours, than by a two hour movie that is forgotten by the time I get to my car.
Boring. I could have written this story in 10 minutes. Cool spaceship that is good for about two minutes. The other two hours will feel like getting a root canal. Big pass! Overrated.
This documentary seems to be of the opinion that if you cheat in your marriage, IF it is with a same sex person, you're a hero of some kind. Lots of marriages grow stale and need to be worked on and given attention. Running off and having an affair makes you typical, not a hero. I suppose blaming your church eases the conscious, but it doesn't change the fact you lied, cheated, and broke vows, no matter how nice the music they play in the background while telling your "brave" story.
