There isn't much to this movie. It's pretty mapped out for the viewer in the beginning. Very predictable. Put it this way, I watched it while I worked out in the morning and didn't miss anything by not watching the screen the whole time...you don't have to think or really try to follow the story much while watching it. I didn't remember the name of it afterwards (Mean Queen is the title on Tubi, which I actually had to go back to find because I wanted to look up the actors-I do that with most movies) and I wouldn't watch it again unless someone else was watching it and I was just there. It's not horrible, just not anything to remember.
I didn't read the reviews before I watched this. If I had, I probably would've skipped it. I was pretty confused for a lot of it. That's not always a bad thing because it kept me into it trying to figure out what was happening. It wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought it'd be a bad husband with a dark secret type movie. The lead actress (who is beautiful by the way) carried the movie so well that even if it was I bad I would've kept watching. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people who want a cut and dry storyline. So if you like straight forward, not thought provoking entertainment, grab a beer and watch sports instead. It's movies like this that put that little fear in your mind about visiting any foreign places, and I liked that about it.
