I thought this might have been filmed during the pandemic, because the video quality is bad and the audio doesn't match up with the lips in some scenes. I'm not sure if they were doing automated dialogue replacement or something but it's noticeable.
As for the story, nothing really grabs you. It just seems to be a bunch of people talking through the most mundane things. There is just a plodding goal of investigating some threat to a Christmas festival and a bunch of people trying to investigate. It has all the feel of a daytime soap opera, but much less interesting. The dialogue is so basic, it seems like a shadow of every other good christmas movie.

As far as I can tell, the only reason this has an overall rating of 4 out of 10 is because of Marvel fanboys that feel threatened by a movie with a mostly female cast. Just to balance things out, I'm giving it a 10 even though it is probably a 6.5 or 7.0. While this isn't the Godfather or Avengers: Endgame, the plot is coherent and without any giant gaps. The characters are interesting enough and the pace keeps things engaging. For those whining about product placement, keep in mind this takes place in New York city that has product ads all over the city. So don't blame the movie for being authentic to the amount of ads on the NY landscape. I enjoyed this as much as any Marvel movie.
After watching the first episode, this feels like watching fan generated content. It has all the appearances of a Star Wars production but not the passion or thought of other Star Wars productions. The overall feeling of the plot seems to be a small story that doesn't draw the viewer in.
The Jedi characters come off as very hollow. While Jedi are supposed to be disciplined, Jedi characters in other productions still had a beating heart and soul. All the Jedi in this episode feel like their were just delivering lines without emoting.
The CGI is quality so at least the visual are there. Overall, I'm not sure I will bother with the rest of the series unless I'm desperate for something to watch.
