I know you're supposed to suspend your disbelief in order to enjoy the show, but really? The 'Cooper' character would have to be a combination of David Copperfield, David Blaine & Harry Houdini with a totally inept police presence thrown in, in order to accomplish what he did in the movie. It had me yelling at the screen a couple of times! 😂 So I gave it barely a '5' for good acting & scene development, as it was not a 'bad' film, but I hope no one is thinking about making a sequel to this movie. Mr. Shyamalan has done a lot better in his past movies, so I expected more than was delivered here.
Kind of a letdown. Good acting from some good actors but the writing brought the movie down. The antagonist would have to have been a psychic in order to flawlessly plan for every situation that was encountered ...before the ending. That weakness was blaringly obvious during the movie. I was hoping for better.
Good acting. Great production values. Crisp logical scene progression, and a surprise ending. What more could you ask for?
