  • A beautiful picture with rotten content

The whole point of BES is that revenge may blind your eyes and yet you still should followed it whithout hesitation. Wounds, braked bones, scars, kill as many as you can, all of that just to get revenge.

The all characters in this series are being followed by desires they want to successes. Some wants blood revenge, another by revenge of being dishonored, ones follows the desire to be great, and last - by desire to rule and conquer.

The only thing that this series give to us viewers, is nice graphical animations. With amazing voice acting and some lines.

Last time I saw anything similar to that was Tarantino's "Kill Bill". Nice pictures, with good acting, dialogs, and amazing music. But once again, main topic is revenge at any cost.

Maybe because of that it is hard to get sympathy for main protagonist,... and it is unclear if she is the protagonist at all?

  • when potential meets low quality

The Story of Lamborghini as a Brand (does not matter tractors or sports cars), it's story, owner and his family life, fighting with Ferrari - require more timing and better directing, not mention writing. Particularly this movie is lack everything of above. It's looks like either studio cut 1-1,5 hours of materials because editing is so lazy and weak OR director + scrip writer just a did not take this project serious enough. Some sub-stories in movie appears and what looks like a challenges for characters are being just resolved in matter of few minutes of screen time. Frank Grillo is great in this movie as well as cast - no questions to them.

  • A magical fairytale at the time of madness

***Next test might be perceived in an inappropriate manner, but this was made specifically to bring more understanding*** thank you for understanding.

"JoJo Rabbit" is a great example of historical tragic-comedy genre impregnated with satire and the modern creative way of working. Together with great cast, perfect shots, color palette, costumes, perfectly written story - all of this (and lot of other) creates one of the most amazing and sincere movie of 2019.

Oh... the cast. Scarlett. This year is whole yours. It belong to you and only You. From Natasha to Nicole and then to Rosie. So different characters, so different performances, and all of this in 1 Year!! For your astonishing work - You are deserve an Oscar. The chemistry between young Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis) and Elsa (Thomasin McKenzie) sometimes remind another beautiful cinema couple - Zero & Agatha (The Grand Budapest Hotel). Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Alfie Allen -you guys are rock, and it doesn't even matter what uniform you are wear! And a young Archie Yates - wow, what a great work from this dude. If in future, there will be adaptation "Up", from Pixar animation to movie, Archie it is the first candidate to play Russell.

Overall "Jojo Rabbit" it a product of love, passion, humanism and antifascist message. It is like Taika Waititi and Wes Anderson had a love, but before conception act, they both were inspired by "Forrest Jump" and "Life Is Beautiful", and both understood what would they future child should look.

  • The Show we needed. Away from DC\Marvel world

    The boys

Without any doubts this is best superhero TV shows right now. DC and Marvel does not have anything like this. Let's wait what HBO Watchmen will shows us, but for the now - we have a winner. Wildstom "The Boys" comic book has seen the world in 2006 and in fall 2012 was ended, with 72 issues total. And thanks God, Amazon has buy right for it screening. Not sure if Netflix would did a better. By compering different shows, as for me, "The Boys" very close to Justice League: Injustice. It no not so brutal like it was in DC and doesn't cover questions of what is the cost of justice and power, but the Show has only first season, so I believe if fans like what the saw in July 2019, Amazon will go deeper and will raise shows brutality. Shortly about plot, in the world where superheroes (Supes) are exist, all of them were legalized and all of them are working for Vought International. Transnational company with HQ in US, which: control, assign a missions, build a marketing strategy, commercialized and later known, develop a new Supes, around the world. Most popular heroes and those who bring more money to company are members of The Seven. Old materials Supes, who does not bring money are sent to 2nd leagues of losers. With great power comes a great responsibility but when your heroes are TV superstars with huge salaries and their actions could not be judged by any country and government, they turned into bunch of self-lovers jerks and jack asses. The first thing which you see it's how superhero team, almost recreate in some ways Justice League. Homelander - copy of Superman. Well, more cocky, narcissistic, with pseudo patriotism ideals. Leader of the team. The most powerful of all team members. Absolutely understructable being. Main antagonist.

Queen Maeve - reference to Wonder Woman. Probably best person who see true Homelander intentions. Previously she was in relations with simple woman, then move to Homelander, now alone. Have a problems with alcohol. From time to time trying to act following her heart and the ideals she was grow on. Almost every time when she's trying act right - encounter a resistance in the Homelander face. The Deep - analogue to Aquaman. And maaaaaaaan, writers together with Chace Crawford did an amazing job. That character has a problems with self confident probably because no one is really takes a seriously a guy, whose only power talk with fish. (Reference to Aquman in Robot Chicken ,maybe?) He has a serious issue with sexual life also. Vought knows that a dude is sexual abuser, but trying to cover this fact(spoil the entire 8 episodes). The Deep needs it's own series, because some of his intension are truly good but his actions are so dumb! A train - link to The Flash. The guy with drug-anabolic addiction. Earlier he was "The fastest man alive" and this title belongs only to him, but now world full of speedsters. And in order to protect his reputation, well, yes, he is usually on anabolic. Black Noir - you want to believe it is a copy of Batman, but No, It's analogue to Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. We don't know a lot about him, only that he: never speak, good at martial arts & knives , parkour, ............aaaaand he is great piano player. If Susan "Sue" Storm-Richards aka Invisible Girl from Fantastic 4 was a man, he's nickname would be Translucent. One of the famous Seven team members. TV star. Most of the time use his powers to spy on girls in bathroom. Total jerk. Starlight - she is a newbie in the team. Almost at the first day on work she was abused by one of members. She is a light inside the "The Seven" darkness. I think her character has something with Supergirl and Stargirl, because she is also young and sometimes naïve, believe in all good, against all bad etc. One of series protagonists. Of corse there is a Vought International - VC president. But lets leave her story. I don't want to open all cards. Now let's go to our heroes aka simple humans. The Boys are team created by Billy Butcher, CIA agent who hates everything related to Supes. There are also: Hughie Campbell, the guy whose girl was killed by A-Train; Frenchie - specialist in bombs, weaponry and spy tech; Mother's Milk - former CIA agent, probably the voice of logic in the team; Kimiko - girl with inhuman "abilities", but lack of communication skills, previously was test pet of Vought. The show full of blood&meat, nudity, dirt language and this is exactly what you need from modern Superhero genre shows. It is not completely "Deadpool", but it is more combination between DC "Doom patrol" & "Titans" + Marvel "Daredevil". Entire picture of "The Boys" not full of grey paint and pain, even the opposite it is colorful and sunny. But behind bright colors of heroes costumes and perfect Hollywood smiles there is always darkness and dirty world of money, unlimited power and politic manipulations. For Marvel & DC fans this show is MUST WATCH without any doubts, fans of fiction & fantasy would love it too. My respect to Amazon Prime and all crew members who create this show. Overall 8.5\10

  • The great debut with important message to audience.

"As the world fell...each of us in our own way was broken. It was hard to know who was more crazy. Me... Or everyone else." This famous quote from Mad Max: Fury Road can be easily applied to the latest Karen Gillan work - "The party is just beginning". Every character(s) in the movie has depression\pain\internal self-destruction process in their own way. It does not matter what gender, age or social status they are. Everyone's - affected. We see, Aliester (played by amazing Matthew Beard ) - guy from Inverness, from bad family, who is astonished by being not understandable by his close friend. But he doesn't even care about those one special person who was always right next to him and support him in every decision he makes. Dale (aka "Ronan the Accuser" aka Lee Pace) - an individual who suffer himself for not being "a man". He can't give his family enough support, therefore he goes to Inverness, to finish his last days. "Happy caller" - is an old man from Inverness, who lost his wife some time ago, and now feels lonely without close person he could talk to. Despite that fact that he has a children's, he is scared to phone them, as for seeing himself as a burden for his family. Everyone from characters above are connected with our main storyteller - Liusaidh (Lucy) played by "Nebula" - Karen Gillan. And I must admit, her performance is stunning. Probably best for all her career. So, we see Inverness through Lucy eyes. Her close friend has abandoned her almost year ago, and now she is on her way of self destruction, although she thinks it is the way how this world works. Actions and decisions she makes are filled with carnal and alcoholic pleasure, caused by helpless of support from her family. As already mentioned, everyone in this movie are victims of depression, and Lucy family aren't exclusion. Both of parents takes mental distance from each other, as the result, their daughter became a victim too. I give a credit to Karen as a Director debut. She has made very meaningful and in the same way sensitive project. Sadly, film represent current situation for many people across the world, who are does not find appropriate support, and trying to run from this world and hide itself down inside of self brain. Anyway, for those who trying to run away from modern pop cultural super heroes and multiverses, please take a look on this one.

  • Full enjoy of every shot and every musical theme

"Woman at war" it is a story about strong female who trying to do all she can, at any price, in order to save her homeland ecosystem. She is in partisan war against big technological giant who pollute her land. I give my salute and an applause to Halldóra Geirharðsdótti for her amazing performance both twins sisters Halla and Asa. The way how Halldóra run on Icelandic mounts and survice in wild nature would make to envy every single trail runner in the world together with Bear Grylls. Of course Cinematograph - Bergsteinn Björgúlfsson. The camera of this man shows magnificent landscapes of Iceland. I know it was shown many times ago in many movies. But in "Woman at the war" we don't see warm and green Iceland, as well as cold and snow land of Vikings. No we see foggy and grey tons, but this fact doesn't bring shade to Mr. Björgúlfsson work. Because the weather and colors of nature represent mood of protagonist. If you look at main banner of this film you may find hidden symbol. Treble clef. Because music is playing very important, or even A Key role in the movie. When Halla takes an actions and fights against police, government and spies systems we can hear\see her feelings & mood "in hands" of Icelandic music trio (Drumms\Sousaphone\Pianist &accordion). When, suddenly, in her life appears a hope, that somewhere in Ukraine there is a small girl (Nika) who lost her parents, at the war, from that moment, every single thought of Nika create for Halla a group of three Ukrainian choir singers. During all actions and all circumstances main heroine participate in, we see those 6 musicians represents different sides, and always split. But only at the end, we saw all of them standing together, when Halla and Nika finally met. I think these unity of different music styles together shows that Halla has finally find a peace in her life. This movie have everything. Good Acting performance. Great - cinematography. An Amazing music. Without any doubts - One of the best movies of 2018.

  • Boring salad

Skyscraper it is typical American project with focus (financial, of course) on Asia market. Movie itself doesn't give us anything new in "lonely hero saves hostages from terrorist in high tower" genre. So here is 7 standard templates are typical for this kind of movie: 1) group of terrorists from Europe with charismatic leader (ok, in this film main villain has lack of charisma); 2) "bad-ass bad girl" also right hand of antagonist; 3) old friend who betray protagonist and you know it after watching on him for 3-4 minutes; 4) main hero-dad who wants only peace after bad experience on previous job, but always ready to beat trash out of bad guys; 5) members of protagonist family, who were taken as a hostages (children's, wife); 6) girls fight at the end; 7) some small McGuffin at the begin which will play important (key !) role at the end of movie. Yes accent in movie was also focused on physical disability of main hero this fact increase empathy to him. But overall, Skyscraper its a combination of different movies. Not need to go far, you may spot similarity with "Die hard" series and "MI: Ghost protocol". Maybe this is why Skyscraper was release almost at the same date when "Die hard 1" was released 30 years ago. For audience this movie is nice way to spend 2 hours of their life, eat some popcorn and watch "salad" of action movies with main Action star of last years in main role.

  • More action - less ideas.

Shortly, without spoilers. Despite critics praises about how good this film is, personally, I feel some disappoint. Overall film is focusing about family members reuniting. From one side we see how Scott Lang trying to return back to her daughter after FBI puts him on home arrest(outcome after Civil War). From another side, Pym family, Hope Van Dyne and Hank Pym who are trying their best to return Hank wife, Hope's - mother, from quantum world, where she was locked for more than 30 years. Obviously the weakest thing in Ant man and the Wasp - it is the scenario. We does not feel any tension and threat to our heroes during their mission. The sequel doesn't have strong and solid villain. We have some short sighted and weak Tech mafia who chasing our heroes fin order to get their tech developments. We have comedy FBI agents who chasing main heroes. Of course, there is Ghost, but the more we understand and learn about this character, the more questions we ask our self, are she really so bad and her actions are? Yes this film is full of action scenes, which show to us more Pym technologies, and it also has more comedy scenes then in first movie, but we can't said it is much funnier as it was "Thor3: Ragnarok". Joke on joke, actions scenes and jokes inside of them, moment of some small tension and jokes again, after a while it really gets boring. Only scenes with Mikael Pena character bring joy every time when we see him on the screen, oh yes and of course Randall Park - everything he say and how he say - is it hilarious. Paul Rudd - absolutely the same, as he were in first movie and Civil War. Evangeline Lily got more screen time, well yes, because she is the WASP(!) and she is one of the main characters, and because about 80% of all actions scenes in this movie, include her character. Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, i don't know, her personage is mystery for me, empty place, i can't say i like her, but that's probably because of script and not about her acting skills. Once again main villain in ANT MAN and the WASP is screenwriters. Their lack of ideas and maximum interest on actions scenes, instead of dialogs and building new strong characters, poses last Marvel movie as a typical summer blockbuster for people who just wants to came in cinema to eat some popcorn. PS:God, i already want to hear review from CinemaCins.

  • The use of a successful project to create an empty franchise.

I bet, when you first saw Sicario 2 trailer on December 2017, your thoughts was "WTF I just saw!? Why did you even try to do a second part SONY?" Honestly for me first film, directed by Denis Villeneuve, was an amazing work with enough tension and cruel realism of modern days, great music composed by Jóhann Jóhannsson , and freaking awesome cast. But now I am still asking, why for God sake, are you even tried to make sequel, if there is not enough premises for that. Well, I must say all Trailers for Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado looks brilliant. Honestly they look like Mr. Villeneuve work, but at reality, you can felt "his style" only before and during Action scenes. Both characters performed by Josh Brolin and Benisio Del Toro has more screen time and probably this is main positive moment, because we can understood more about how their mind work and what are their beliefs and missions. Female character in Day of the Soldado was seriously downshifted compared to the first movie, and I must said Isabella Reyes role, performed by Isabella Moner, is a little bit not understandable for me. During film she is transforming from "bad-ass self-confident rich school girl" to the "cold blooded poker-face witness of crime", and probably(FAN THEORY - AHEAD) will be recruited by US military in third movie as a new Sicario:)) Music. Jóhann Jóhannsson - may his soul Rest In Peace, did an amazing work together with Hildur Guðnadóttir. Their score is something that keep your eyes always open and increase your heartbeat. Cinematography doesn't give you anything new. Many of shots are completely the same as it was in first movie. No, it looks good, but only if you didn't see 2015 Original. Script. Oh man, it is the same!! Like in the original movie we see 2 lines. Main line - where we meet with our heroes, their goal and what are they doing to reach it. And the second line where we see desperate young men, from the "other side", and his way. While first movie was focused only on Mexico, relationships between DEA and FBI, Cartels and of course Benicio Del Toro character, second film "return" to Mexico theme, but under the prism of terrorist bomb attack in US. Human traffic, Border control, Cartel, US Military, Mexico Federal Police - everything like in the first movie. Maybe Soldado has few more actions scenes. But it doesn't change anything. SONY has decided to create franchise after 1 successful film, with the same style, theme, and almost the same script. Only audience can decide does this newly created franchise has right for a life or this experiment is one big mistake and it's better to stop using same templates and create something new.

  • Laugh at the times of terror

Let me begin, that this movie is absolutely farcical and absurd is the way of telling history. I completely understand it was based on 'Titan comics', but for people who lived their entire life in Eastern Europe, and whose family's had lose their love one and family members, during Communistic regime in 1922 - 1991, this work from Iannucci is 'Too much'. Because the way how movie shows NKVD(The People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs) with its manager Lavrentiy Beriya and structure and methods of this organization, in some comical and ironical way, I am sorry but this not a case for jokes, you guys. The scenes with people executions and regular night arrests by NKVD doesn't looks like crime, it is more - permanent process on weekdays. Anyway, lets focus more on film itself.

At the ACT 1 and ACT 2 of the movie, director is trying to shows completely weakness of decision making process between characters, after 'mustache leader' gone. Someone's are playing in political poker trying to bring more positive and bright into people lives, after Stalin's years of terror. Someone trying to build a new country with new reforms and laws. Someone wish to leave all like it is and lives by the same rules as it was before. Someone is too weak in taking own decisions and they change, like a water takes the form based on environment. It sounds like everyone from team has some their individuality and strong sides, but when it comes time to vote or take single or group responsibility for some action - each one of them become little kid and afraid to say something. It this way, the next leader should be a person who does not afraid to take a step forward and unite everyone others with his\her ideas. And this is why at the end of ACT 2 we saw two main individuals who would fight against each other for taking golden Kremlin 'throne'. All of this takes place with a lot of humor and irony together with... IDK.. some warm colors, maybe. In ACT 3 we already don't see comedy. Everything become more brutal and cold. We become witnesses of how people takes real power and become leaders. Undercover negotiations. People tragedy that can be used like great change to remove your political opponent. The feeling of self powerless. Brutal unjudged process of execution. And old leader take the same fate as all his previous victims - by clause 'Enemy of USSR people'.

I must say the atmosphere of movie is amazing. Each of character actually playing important role in this project. Dialogs - they are hilarious! The way how personages change their entire idea of the line, in 2 second, just because situation around of him was changed - is truly amazing. Makeup and costumes are also great. Locations - ohh, many of location were filmed in my lovely Kyiv. However if like to look on the details, you can easily find plastic window in old apartment house and also modern fully glazed balcony's on surrounding building. But lets just see on this as a 'Director vision'.

Overall I think this film must be shown to every citizen of post soviet countries in order just to remind people how stupid, brutal and selfish can be politicians when they trying to reach their goals.

  • For those who has saved our present and future

Ok, so to be true, the real mark from me - is about 8.4-.8.5 Before filming every movie, each filmmaker should thought, for what type of audience this film will be. Because, as we all known, in one country movie can be successful, in another - hated. It all depends from history of each country, on its current political, finance and economic situation. Every country has its tragic and dramatic moments. At the end of every such tragic moment: transport incidents with victims, nature cataclysm, political protests, revolutions, terrorist attack or war, people become united and works together. Just to support each other, share their resources with others, or to solve problems which was caused by 'others'. Very often, directors running by their emotions and thus make their work too screwed up, chaotic and difficult to perceive by ordinary viewers. And probably because of that, many of movie filmed right after important events, are becomes quite bad or lets called them, weak. The reason is very simple, authors (writers) do their jobs only following emotions and fillings. They doesn't spend many time for analyzing history before 'drama' was taking the place, they looks at situation from only one point of conflict, for additional materials they use data from Wikipedia or short interviews of victims\friends\real persons who been involved. "Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die" doesn't have any of problems mentioned above. Events, personages, interior and places, some monologues and dialogs, all of this was taken from real peoples who risked their lives and who were killed or was wounded during the Battle of Donetsk airport (real name: Donetsk Sergey Prokofiev International Airport) at autumn 2014 -Winter 2015. Those Ukrainians who served there was named 'Cyborgs'. First time that names were given by pro-russian separatists, because of specific how Ukrainian soldiers fights, how they used this building and non-human conditions where they lived. But lets return back to movie. It doesn't have one main antagonist or group. It is more complicated. We having: pro-russian separatist and Russian military forces from one side who tries to knock out&occupy airport as main strategic object; also Ukrainian general command, who follows only International 'peaceful' plans, his orders brings mess into situation; some of 'Cyborgs' has psychological issues caused, of course, by heavy military actions. These are main factors which create atmosphere, idea and probably this is the main line of the movie. Permanent fight with physical enemy, enemy in face of your command and with 'another yourself'. Director choose not to follow only one protagonist personage, he decided to provide each one of the them enough time to told their story. This is why, you are really understand actions and behaviors of every character and start to sympathize and empathize everyone. Dialogs and lines are clearly the best thing! First of all, this is not fully Ukrainian speaking product. As it was in real life, soldiers are speaking between each others on 2 languages, Ukrainian and Russian. Second, there is many philosophical and social historical speeches between characters. Movie just full of them, it gives the audience (especially international) the answers of what is the cause of this war? Why everything was taking place? What is the main motives of pro-russ separatist? Why so many young and old guys from Ukraine come together at this Airport, and what drives them to do what they are doing? Harsh\strong words are in use very often (like it should be on war!), but I believe, in real, it was way much more . Actions. If you are filming military film please be ready to spend money, a lot of money, for battle scenes. The battle scenes in this movie are very weak. If you go on Youtube and saw by yourself, what was the battles in airport, you will completely agree with me. So this one, is the main minus of the movie. Actors. I can't say anything bad about them. They are good or they normal, depend of characters they playing. And I believe there is more problem with script and lines. Probably this is very small minus, also. Overall "Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die" is the best Ukrainian movie of last years. Seriously. If you check previous movies made in Ukraine you will find that all products can be split on 3 category: historical dramas, modern comedy's, modern documentary, and some art-house projects made special for festivals. 'Cyborgs' it is like #MustSee for every citizen. The reason is to not to forget, about those heroes who has spent 242 days in strategic ruins, those who has lived, defend and died in non-human conditions, in order to save our present, our way of living and protect the country from 'lovely older brother'.

For me David Leitch is first of all director of action movies. His well-known 'John Wick' gave a new look to fight and actions scenes for whole industry. Also David known for his stuntman's\coordinator jobs years ago. In these few sentences I am trying to acquit minuses of Atomic Blonde. OK, so 'Atomic Blonde' return us to 1989 in a time of cold war and the period when Berlin Wall lives last days. Spy games are still running between Commies, US, UK,French. We see the story from UK agent eyes, told by agent Lorraine (C. Theron). I will not give you any SPOILER about all scenario aspects. Let's just say scenario is normal, have interesting intrigues. It is not masterpiece from spy detective stories and novels, but for such movies it is OK. The story itself interesting, but at the end, when all cards are being open, you still did not understand what happened 'who is who', ' how he\she did everything' etc. I believe that director and editor did not showed, all explanations and all moments in order to finalize story. Let's say 7\10.

Now lets talk about cast and their acting. You shouldn't expect many dramatic acting in movies genres like this. But in nowadays every blockbuster\Action\Fantasy\sci-fi has these moment in scenario where protagonist has some dreams or love\lover and in some part of movie it's all ruining. And this is a moment when acting skills should be using. However, in Atomic Blond main character ('Atomic Blonde'\Lorraine) always wears pocker face. We are talking about Oscar winner C. Theron! I don't know maybe she was acting like this according to scenario or narrations from Director. Her previous role where she played strong female queen Furiosa (Mad Max:Fury Road) and that was really amazing, powerful, charismatic, and deep personage. In 'Atomic' she is only strong and confident, and that all! Truly, J.McAvoy (UK spy\ 'Percival') character is way much more charismatic, interesting and emotionally deeper then 'Blonde'. Once again, maybe this way of acting from James and Charlize, were requirements from director … We have also additional characters, like J. Goodman, T. Jones, E. Marsann, S. Boutella and some guys who portray stupid Commies KGB agents (like always Hollywood does). From these persons, 3 persons has about 15 min on screen, from these three only 2 give you some important information regarding all aspects of story, from these 2 only 1 has direct connection with Charlize Theron character, another one has only physical connection (guess who :) ). There is 2 antagonists in movies, KGB agents and double spy agent, whose identity is very interesting for UK and French side only. About Commies as a villains, they are absolutely stupid and useless in shooting, like Storm troopers against Jedi's. All explanation above will cost 5\10, where 5 – is only because of Hollywood names. Stunt job. Here is where David Leitch can beat some asses. And he beat them using amazing C. Theron. What did Ms Theron is very very impressive and everyone should applause her. And each stunt person did a great work during this project. In John Wick most of action scenes from Keanu Reeves was based on 'gun fight' sometimes with using hand2had fights, in 'Atomic blonde' everything is reverse. But, in the same time here is difference between John and Blond. First personage was beaten and sometimes crawling saving his live, female character win all fights, and even after 100 kilo man throw her twice at the floor she can beat him (without breaking any of her bones) and in few minutes later take a deep breath and swim 50m underwater in cold water. What I mean, if David Leitch want to bring some realism and brutality in his movie fights scenes, he shouldn't make his main character - unbeaten. That is why -9\10

Cinematography is very important and very different during film. 3\4 part of movie use short shots for scenes, in the last quarter, when we saw adrenaline action scenes one by one - cinematography takes a long shots.Production Design, Music, Costumes are awesome you feel yourself back at end of 80 s. Overall, without no more comments and no more explanation. 7.5\10
