Another addition of a season to a successful series is not always a good idea. The first two seasons were entertaining and OK to watch, if you will allow for some not-so-credible things happening. The third season however is way over the top with a completely unlikely plot and equally unlikely events happening. A story of human trafficking is acceptable these days, but this plot exaggerates with far-fetched family bonds, surprise after surprise but not in the right way. The acting of the Veronica character is good but does not save the series. Fortunately only 3 episodes, but that was already too much.
Romy (Nicole Kidman) is a beautiful and successful CEO of a large company. She is married and has two children. Then one day she acts as a mentor of an intern. The time slot is only seven minutes. After even less than that, when he leaves, the intern kisses Romy on her mouth, which she seems to accept or tolerate. After that a strange relationship develops where the intern seeks to dominate his CEO with weird sexual requests. At one point she has to lick milk from a saucer on the floor. This plot is too far-fetched to be even remotely credible. Furthermore, there is no understandable chemistry between the two partners.
The movie has received wide acclaim and much has been written about it, especially in the directors country's media (The Netherlands), but the praise of the crowd seems very similar to the praise was given in the famous fairy-tale to the Emperors clothes. For me I found it all (in capital) 2nd and 19th letter of the alphabet.

The Decameron as a story by Boccaccio is a world class telling. Nothing like that can be said of this series which completely misses every possible point. It is not comedy, not satire, there is no interesting story line and it isn't even drama. Of course the actors are painfully chosen for political correctness, even though some bear no liking to persons living in the year 1348. There is overacting, to the point of becoming very irritating, like the Tindaro character. I do have to admit that I did not see all of and left after a few episodes for boredom and the feeling that nothing would come up to change my mind. I will now see what Pasolini made of it.
