Netflix did it another time. The serie is full of clichés and the story is of course historically inaccurate and any caucasien brown haired looking woman or man should do the trick to play a french character. Made for American viewers maybe. Know it's made after a novel (i did not read) but from my point of view after watching the first two episodes, it is difficult to pass through the historical lacking views it offers from the french and german culture or facts of life during occupation during ww2. Of course despite these details it is visually nice, we don't see much about Saint Malo but it looks like the city.

Ten out of ten for the season one but season two missed the shot and goes down hill from episode one, if i have an advice, watch season one and leave the rest to the wokism writers of Netflix. So disapointed they ruined the serie like this along with so many good show that are beggining very well. They did it another time... Loved how positive the first season was and every actor was fitting so well into his role, now one season two i have the feeling the actors are used to push an agenda that they don't really want to push and the viewer can see it. 10/10 for season one and 3/10 for season two.

Why is this serie not on the main streaming platforms ? It is an absolut masterpiece and should be avalaible everywhere. Dark historical drama, a spanish historical kind of The wire style investigation in Seville during black plague times. A must watch!
