This story pulls you in. By the end of it, it felt like I had been there with them all. I think there are very few shows that portray women's sexuality in such a fierce way, and society seems to shy away from conversations about it.
This is a story of heartbreak, friendship, family, and ... sex! It can be a bit of an adjustment if you aren't used to this sort of subject matter, but please go in with an open mind. I guarantee that everyone who watches this series will learn *something*. I do wonder if some of the naysayers are people who watched it that just can't relate to being a woman, or being terminal, or having this friendship, but I still think everyone should at least give it a try, at the very least it's good for a few laughs.

I can understand the criticism, it's not the most original storyline ever, but I did find it to be actually somewhat refreshing. It's not one of those horrors where nobody believes the person, this happens to everyone and they do actually try to avoid it - police take it seriously, family gets on board to help, etc.
I think people are just so busy looking for the next "new" thing, the next unpredictable twist, but don't give any credit to an old fashioned story of lore. I enjoyed it, I didn't get bored and try something else, so I would say it's worth a shot. Plus, Sam Claflin is awesome and his acting is just as good as it always is.
