I'll start by saying the scenery was beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect but the story disappointed me. I won't criticize the acting but some actors were much better than others. I didn't guess who the murderer was right away but it was so clumsy with the suspects. You know who didn't do it but it try's to make the characters suspects which is tedious. Characters are so stereotypical. The renegade, the clown, the dumb pair that insist they know who is it and refuse to investigate anyone else, The journalist was not likeable. I could label each character. It's an easy watch for sure. I enjoyed the language. I loved the gorgeous scenery.

Good grief. What a terrible series. It took me years to watch Yellowstone and I admit I did enjoy it and by the end of the series I admitted it was pretty good. Having finished Y I decided to watch 1883 ... a disappointment so I watched 1923. I didn't finish. Now Lioness I'm attempting to watch for the 3rd time. The acting is deplorable. Basically I'm just goi g to agree with the other low raters. Why is it necessary to use the f bomb several times in ONE sentence. Nicole Kidman can do better Well I don't have 600 words to waste on this poorly scripted and acted series. I just wanted to lower the score.

I agree with Absolute Travesty's review and several others who felt like I do. Sick of WOKE. Such a great cast. So sad. I've had enough of rave reviews on Cush Jumbo. Last few series she's been in have not impressed me. I'm sorry to all you fans but I didn't feel any sympathy for her. It's devastating to lose a child. The traits she portrayed I think were really low. Sneaky, dishonest, stalking, pre meditation. Come on. If you'd lost a child you sure wouldn't have the energy. The acting by everyone is quite good so I have to give this good marks because it wouldn't be fair just because I didn't like Cush. Lol.
