Ashton Kutcher's performance and betrayal of Steve Jobs was good, he had his walk down like he was walking with his knees not his legs. If any of you remember when the first Playstation came out there was game that came with it called Abe's Odysey, Abe was an alien type creature who had a walk very similar to Steve Jobs maybe they took inspiration from Jobs for the game. Ashton did well to be fair with his mannerisms, voice mannerisms even sounded like him at times with the shots that were filmed from a distance you could mistake Ashton for the real Steve Jobs.
That was probably the only decent part of the film. Reading about it, it sounds like the film only really covered the basics of what went on during those early years of Steve Jobs and Apple. Obviously i wasn't present in these times i wasn't even born till the first Macintosh was launched, which seems crazy because personal computers wasn't even a thing or on my radar until i was 8 years old seeing one in school in first year of junior school was just a curiosity we was like Monkeys with sticks prodding it waiting to see what it'll do. So for me Steve Jobs was way ahead of his time and his innovative ways. I guess the film dabbled in that in ways showed Steve's drive and ambition, his passion for high standards in his products but the story was lacking all that, all that what Steve believed in. Seemed half arsed to be honest. They didn't have to make stories up or dramatise events, if they just delved a little deeper i think they would of found a story which would of been powerful and honest. Shame really with all the great actors they had on board this film could of been something special, opportunity lost i think. Just a glazed over look a passing glance of the life of Steve Jobs if they looked a little deeper in Steve's eyes this product too could of been something.
It is a great story told brilliantly by J.C. Chandor. For someone who isn't fluid in the stocks and shares of the trading game I could just about manage to understand what was going on in the film. It didnt go over my head put it that way and I'm in no way financially minded.
Such a collaboration of top quality actors Quinto was good, Tucci, Irons, Bettany, Baker I'd imagine it was a festival of goosebumps watching these powerhouses act. I was in awe just been sat here in my living room watching it, imagine watching them up close and personal.
Great film, great story and a great cast.
Considering he's not in the film that much and the film is named after his character he steals the whole show when he appears front and centre. He is so good you're amazed by him I wouldn't be surprised if Jim Carrey didnt use Michael Keaton's performance as Beetlejuice as a template for his fantastical cartoon character Stanley Ipkiss in the The Mask.
Love the B Movie special fx and the Shake Senora dance scene.
Little peave though was Betelgeuse/Beetlejuice dilemma. Wish they explained it a bit better thought I was having a dyslexic turn kept checking after all these years in was reading the name of the film wrong, kept stopping the film to check the title. The only downfall.
All in all funny and out there film. I'd just watch it for Keaton's performance.
It is a beautiful love story, forget about the age difference just two souls drawn to each other like magnets. The magnetism shows through the screen its powerful, the power of love, its beautiful.
The performances by Jamie Bell and Annette Bening are just outstanding, the way Annette softens her demeanour and her voice was so good to portray Gloria Grahame. Jamie just had this no nonsense way of acting it seemed like a Richard Burton style it was perfect like a 50's couple on the big screen.
Nice to see Stephen Graham play a role using his real scouse accent who usually plays characters with a distinctive accent and he plays them really well you wouldn't know any different. Nice little break for him I bet.
The film was beautiful all in all the scenery changes, play like changes was just perfect the smoothness from one scene to another was spot on.
A film for the actors to chew their acting chops on too.
What a like about this film is the purity of it, the classic tale of ambition over happiness. I do like a story of someone having to go back to their roots to find out who they are and who they wanted to be. Looking back at the path you've taken and how it varied off course from just thinking the grass is greener over here because these people seemed to have it all. When in fact deep down they dont have happiness, you could have all the money in the world but if your not happy then what is the point. It's a journey of self discovery that we all have to take now and again and I loved the fact in this film her brother who seems to be slightly slower than everyone else who might be on the autism spectrum knew his sister was on that journey and knew she'd come home, so they can go look for the elephant which seems to be the start of all the drama.
Any film, filmed in New York will always put a smile on my face for biased reasons as New York is special to me so loved the back drop of the city.
All in all beautiful made film beautiful story.
Well if your an avent Sci Fi fan you would love this film all the easter eggs dropped and lying around would be like a School girl waking up on xmas day to find all the Barbie dolls shes ever wanted under the xmas tree.
For me it was the comedy that lured me in to watch this movie. Any film Simon Pegg and Nick Frost appear in together is comedy gold being best friends in real life shows on screen they've got such good chemistry.
For me though the underdog, under estimated, under appreciated comedic actor in this film is Joe Lo Truglio. He's so funny in this he as impeccable comedic timing, just the faces he pulls will make you belly laugh. He flys under the radar with the TV shows and films he appears in but those projects wouldn't be the same if he wasnt involved.
All in all this is a very funny movie, couple of the clever jokes which kind of feels like an insider jokes got a bit tiresome for me but most of it was funny. Alien smoking weed what's not to like.
For me see this film would of been funnier if it was shot in the same style as Borat and Bruno and keep these three as trilogy. A dictator roaming around New York but no one knows who he is could lead to many comedic avenues I think personally. I wonder though is Sacha Baron Cohen too recognisable to play these parts anymore. Which is a shame because his comedy in that kind of format is genius let alone ballsy. So if it is the last time he will be able to shot movies in this kind of format again we should cherish these as pure comedy gold. If there is going to be a future reality mockumentary played by someone else the bar is so high I cant see anyone reaching them standards. Sacha is a comedy god and I dont think he gets the credit he deserves.
I appreciate this film did make me laugh the helicopter scene was hilarious, the Wii scene was a bit much I thought but all in all it is a funny film just wish it was shot in the style of Borat and Bruno.
This so up Keanu Reeves street. You can tell he trained hard for this same as the other 2 same as the Matrix. He loves Martial Arts and you can see the discipline he's put into this character I was blown away with action and fight scenes. The horse, the motorbike scene you knew it was a matter of time before we seen John Wick on a bike, if you've ever watched Keanu talk about bikes, talk about his own Motorbike company yes he owns his own Motorbike company he is like a big kid his eyes light up and a big grin goes across his face. When someone puts so much into preparing for a role it shows and this was insane. I loved it Halle Berry kicked arse too with the fight scenes her training paid off big. You could put these films on a shelve in the same category as the Bruce Lee films and it won't look out of place it belongs.
This film was so funny it's been a while since I watched a film that made be belly laugh and struggled to catch my breath. That's what the film was made for and it works. Who cares if the storyline is believable or not or your thinking that would never happen. Granted Seth is definitely punching but they did have good chemistry and played off each other really well. I loved it, if you want to escape from life for a couple of hours and need a good laugh I highly recommend this film.
A TV show with such an amazing good quality acting cast is rare. They've got it right with this show. They've got Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Thandie Newton just to name a few quality actors.
The writings quality the last few episodes of Season 1 just kept blowing my mind, all the twist and turns. Genius writing.
The graphics, everything looks spot on looks real you can't really tell you not it's graphics but it looks so real you question it.
Really looking forward to season 2.
What can I say about this show. I cry on every episode the way it deals with pain and loss you feel it, the way it deals with love you feel it, the way it deals with anger and frustration you feel it. I don't know who does the writing but the do an impressive job, coming up with good unimaginable story lines that you think how did they think this up, all the different angles and plot twists especially the storylines Tom Selleck deals with how complicated they are but believable that it could occur in real life. Geniuses the lot of them.
The back drop of New York was a must I'm glad they decided to shop there instead of Toronto. I love picking out spots that I've been and seen on my travels to New York which is my favourite city in the world. The actors are so so good too. Tom Selleck what a legend he plays such a wise, honest gentleman so well you can't help but think he's just playing himself in real life. You got to love the tache too. Danny Reagan Donnie Wahlberg every time he gets fired up you get fired up it must take a toll on him playing such an emotional character for all them hours. Will Estes Jamie Reagan his love for his partner Jenko through all them seasons but doesn't do anything about just tugs the heart strings gets me every time.
I love this show it just makes you so happy and fulfilled after every episode because it deals with morals so well makes you look at yourself and asks yourself I should be better person. What more do you want from a show that'll make you better person just from watching it. I love it I want more seasons.

Thought this was better than the first hands down. Will Ferrell same as usual an all time great comedian actors he'll go down in history as a Norman Wisdom and Benny Hill type comedian legend. John Lithgow must find people he works with just stare and watch him because he's so good they must just get taken back by his talent, he was the star of the show. John Cena was a bit wooden but he's still learning the craft so can't be too hard on him can't learn unless you try. All in all it is a very funny comedy had me belly laughing. 👍
I don't know he seems to be high expections for a Will Ferrell comedy these days but he's just not delivering. Yes this movie was good I laughed don't get me wrong it's just missing that something I didn't belly laugh like I did with Anchorman or Step Brothers. You hope to have comedy on that par especially with Mark Wahlberg in it because again when the two of them were in The Other Guys I cried with laughter this I didn't found it kind of boring in parts.
Nothing against the actors everyone played their parts beautifully just could do with a bit more punch.
I'm sorry but it was just the acting that let this film down for me.I know there acting pretending to be someone else but it showed felt fake like. Emma Watson beautiful woman but i just didn't believe her it was like someone's social media post its all fake pretending to be someone else when there not and you can see straight through it. It was like she was trying too hard. Tom Hanks is Tom Hanks always puts in a good performance he was the best thing about this film. John Boyega looked he was trying too hard as well perhaps it's trying to put on an American accent thats stoping them putting in a solid performance or maybe there holding back because it's just on Netflix and not in the cinemas. Cellar Coltrane another bit of acting which seemed wooden which is a shame after what he did in Boyhood.Glenne Headly and the late Bill Paxton did a good job with the MS story especially Bill his face when he realised he soiled himself was spot on I do the exact same thing well not from soiling myself but when I realise there's something wrong with me like that sinking feeling.Karen Gillian another beautiful woman again I just didn't understand, she's either a really really good actor or she just didn't care about giving a 100% seemed it at first when she first entered the film but then I don't know just didn't believe her.
The story though I was thinking as the film was going on I bet it's not far from the future. Some of it I was like yes id be up for catching criminals, stopping people getting in danger that needs to happen. Didn't agree with the thought that everyone should post everything they do all experiences, some people just want to be in the moment and u think that should be respected.
So only watch this film if your a Tom Hanks fan or a Bill Paxton fan they won't disappoint you the rest of the film probably will. Sorry.

First off this isn't my kind of film but IMDb recommended it so I'd thought I'd give it a watch. At first I thought this is going to be an hour and half that I won't get back but the actress's in it are so beautiful, (especially Stacey Dash her eyes are amazing) it was worth it to keep watching. The dude out of Scrubs thought he was funny and the dude of Franklin and Bash again kept me entertained to keep watching. Then which shocked me....a young Paul Rudd shows up didn't expect him to pop up in this film and the chemistry between him and Alicia Silverstone found me drawn into the story. The ending was a bit meh but all in all the film was OK. Just too make you feel old this film is 22 years old, Princess Diana was still alive then that's how long ago this film came out. 🙈
