This is a good and solid spy movie which focuses much more on relations and psychology rather than action. This is definitely not an action thriller - like so often the marketing is quite misleading. In that sense I was positively suprised. There are even some comedic elements without being ridiculous. Someone pointed out that this film is not reinventing the genre which is generally true. But the idea of showing the personal relations among the employees with their hopes and aspirations within their organization and how it is intermingled with the plot I have not seen like that ever before.
The performance of the cast is excellent.
In conclusion, at least a 7.5.

The movie piqued my interest after having watched the trailer. After nearly two hours runtime which felt like three I know nearly as much as after having watched the trailer.
Summa summarum it felt like this: Someone had an interesting idea to make a movie but did not know how to develop it into an actual plot. Instead, the movie keeps exploring in circles again and again and again how to develop that idea only to basically find out that it does not work. No, this is not a comedy. There is a lot of repetition and randomness.
Someone else already pointed out that this film-in-film technique used at times is also abandoned without any resolution. Hence, it appears that the movie was made to make fun of itself and the intellectual cultural elites that try to see more in it than there actually is.
Or there was so much post-editing that the movie was totally distorted.
Positive aspects are the very good actors and the filming locations.
Maybe this could have worked much better as a short movie.

Currently, the film holds a rating of 6.7 which is quite fair. It is a solid drama which unfortunately is marketed as some kind of psychological crime thriller which clearly it is not. It is more a drama about your purpose in life and the thriller elements used are a means to cause disruption of the protagonist's every day life. The cinematography looks great, the actors are all delivering very convincingly. I read a review where someone regards even the supporting cast such as the local police man as very memorable - and I do agree.
Coming back to the beginning: The marketing of the movie feels misleading and it is unfortunate because the setting and idea of the plot is quite interesting and unique. A good drama for a calm evening that keeps you thinking about your life afterwards.
