Considering they highlight how much effort was put into making Gran Turismo the most realistic simulator game, the racing scenes in this movie are so unrealistic. The good old 'change gear and press the accelerator harder' overtaking move; if only every other racing driver thought of that! The real Jann was apparently a stunt driver on the movie so I'm surprised he didn't point this out. I'm really hoping that the new Brad Pitt F1 movie doesn't fall into the same trap!
Also, any race fan can spot that 'Silverstone' is in fact Hungaroring.
Apart from that, the rest was alright and I like David Harbour's character. Also Geri Horner (Ginger Spice) has a small role playing Jann's mum.

Although it is fiction and based on a play, I'm sure that it would not make great viewing for people with strong political views.
Personally I watched it as a neutral and I liked how they have adapted it to be set around the time of the 2016 US election.
