I have never been more disgusted by someone pretending to be a man than by Billy Savage. At first, I just despised the amoral narcissist of a wife in this movie. But the more I watched the movie the more I despised this dense, weak, disgusting blob of useless flesh of a husband. Both Richard Attenborough and Kim Stanley played their roles to perfection so that the viewing audience would hate them both. I hope these characters both spent many years in prison after being caught for their useless, stupid, cruel crime perpetrated against an innocent family. What did any of it accomplish except to show how a useless, weak man can be controlled by a domineering woman.
