I was really excited about the hype surrounding this movie! It had a high score on iMDB, the previews were constantly running, it was making lots of money and seemed like I was missing out. Then the day I planned to watch it I started reading users reviews and tons were saying "It's way over-hyped!" Or "It's just okay," or "Not really that good!" so I ended up going into it with much lower expectations and even a tad upset that they had somehow abused the iMDB rating system just to sell tickets. I PERSONALLY LOVED IT!! Hands down the best movie I have seen in 2025! It's so freaking original!! There's never been anything that combines all these different genres or even attempted to have this different genres mashed together into one-movie but it works perfectly for 2025!! People's attention spans are at record lows and need crazy transitions like this to keep their attention on a movie for 2 hours and it had me wondering "Did they use AI to come up with this wild idea just to be original for 2025 and what would sell??" Then it hit me "This is all the things Ryan Coogler absolutely loved all rolled into one movie and he was going to take his shot and make his own personal fantasy movie and didn't care if anyone liked it or not!" Some people won't get it but I absolutely loved it! I know if someone were to tell me they were making a movie with all black actors in the lead roles, blues music, a love story, vampires, and the Klu Klux Klan down in the south during the prohibition era I'd be like "This movie is trying way to hard and it's going to suck!" But it's actually so freaking original and good! I give it a 9/10!!!
I truly don't know if this is comedy or horror! The writer director and cast clearly thinks very low of tony Robbins and the material he's produced over the last 35 years to the point I think this is satire but played very seriously and poorly acted. The boyfriend of the female motivational speaker is an extremely weak actor with seemingly no life experience at all. The visuals are pretty cool but I feel like it's copying some other show or movie like this is very poorly put together and orchestrated. Definitely a stunt double for the nude scene. Very odd movie that doesn't move the meter much. I give this a 3/10.
Jason Statham finds himself in a predicament he knows all too well. A life of military special forces behind him, and now just trying to blend in with life as an every day average construction foreman. A working man if you will. Low and behold his bosses daughter goes missing and Jason Statham is called into action. Statham has played this part at least dozen times before and I will personally never get tired of seeing him stick it to the bad guys!! No one is anywhere near as believable in these gritty one-man army type of movies as Statham. The choreography is top-notch with some necessary brutal violence throughout! If you like Jason Statham movies you'll like this one!
