This movie makes you perceive what a drug addict in recovery undergoes. The dialogues are well written and realistic. The acting is natural with a wide variety of emotions. There are several atmospheres throughout the movie that will keep you absorbed. This is the kind of movie that stays in your and makes you think after watching.

First of all, I found the overall atmosphere extremely relaxing with the low pace and the locust and cicada sound effects. Then there is a lot of innovation and creativity in this movie. The representation of the people of the past is smooth. The use of light in the views of the countryside at night is efficient. Actors are natural. This movie teaches some lessons like how to appreciate the present moment or how being obsessed over your appearance can lose yourself. Lastly, this movie stages many spiritual theories like reincarnation and the non-linearity of time.

Different meanings and interpretations are possible. The main actress plays very well and excels at alternating between timorous and wanton behaviour. Some scenes made me laugh out loud. All in all, the overall atmosphere of the movie is a bit strange but I didn't regret watching it.
