Any body who doesn't like this movie is lacking a sense of humor! It's one of the best films I've ever seen (& I've seen a lot). For you guys who hate the script, your all slow! It's the most intelligent film script of our time! It's hilariously frightening! And Yancy Butler makes my day every time I see this! It's on the top shelf of my video collection where all the best films are, such as, Poison Ivy, The Crush Dearly Devoted (Devil In The Flesh - to the Americans) Dolls, Goodbye Lover, Poltergeist III, The Guardian, Vamp, etc. etc. This film is a must see, even if it's only to catch Yancy Butler pulling her faces and bringing the excellent script to life! Fantastic film, no matter what others say!
After buying this movie from a car-boot sale for £2 about 6 years ago, I've watched it so many times and found it even more funnier then next! It's like nothing else out there on the shelves. Maggies hair is hilarious, and Rocco's Girlfiend is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life! She plays the part so darn well (laughing to myself as I write this) And causes such an out burst when Rocco burst a balloon! She's a big part in this movie and I don't think it wouldn't have been the same with out her! If you see this movie on TV, she's the one in the yellow shorts with BIG blond hair! Absolutely HILARIOUS! In fact, I'm gonna go watch it now.... see ya! OHHHH LA LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAAAAAAA!
I'd have to disagree with everyone who hates this movie! I watched it last night after hearing it was being remade, and still, after all these years of knowing it was a true story (now apparently not true) It scared the bejesus out of me! I'm a huge horror fan, and nothing from Poltergeist to Texas chainsaw has scared me! But this is just great! I think it has something to do with not being able to see what's pestering the Lutz family has something to do with it! And the scenes with the priests are priceless. The movie wouldn't have been the same without them! And for the blood dripping out of the walls, well, what can I say! Very entertaining, even in 2004 (well almost 2005)
