Benja Rojo first film comes out as a solid and paced work. Excellent performance by Willy and Francisca, alongside a great atmosphere (check out delightful mirror tricks) packs a highly entertainment movie.
One of the conduits of the film is about acting and the inevitable decay of the actors. Kind of reminded my to Sunset Boulevard, swapping films for theatre, but in a similar tone.
Music and on point references to Dracula (the house, the mirrors), as well as several witty jokes (using a car wrench as a cross for instance), sugarcoat the tragic underlying the movie.
Also I'd like highlight the chemistry between Willy and Cuti, which helps a lot in making the 75 min length of the movie to pass in a breeze!
