I was really disappointed by the movies , it looks like bad music video at MTV.

And the mask of the main character will tell you everything in this movie.

Actors acts but badly, music plays but sadly. There is no poetry in this movie or reality. It's a bad costumed show with color correction of todays music video.

And the depth of the main characters are lost. You can watch "Prisoner of the Chateau d'If (1988)" at youtube, especially the talk with Abbé Faria - masterpieces! How deep, how amazing the speech of this philosopher , how well played by USSR actors - amazing! You can turn on subtitles to enjoy this scene.

The further it goes the weaker it becomes. It comes as underdog real noir with contradictive characters with strong conflicts inside. But as we move along the series we see that it becomes weaker and weaker. Conflicts going away and drama of scenario is going away also. Its becomes just another detective with good decorations.

I do really enjoy first 2 seasons and i will advice is - no question asked. But third one? No. It becomes boring.

I think they should not do what they did at the end of the season 2 - keeping the most contradictive characters together with their persons to advance in relations to each other - it's a win win for any serious series.

Few nice ideas are falling apart with really bad scenario at the end. The movie wants to be a horror, but at the end it becomes kinda bad and silly action movie. With a bad acting, non logic actions and hilarious staging.

I really live the ideas of creatures. Instead of fierys from debut picture of "Watchers", "Cuckoo" really has something new to offer.

And it evolving really good until 75% of the movie when everything starts to fall apart. Seems like screen writer did not know what to do with all of the beautiful concept he made.

Never let the movie break into different genres when you don't know what to do Mr. Screenwriter.
