The documentary is n open window in the creative process of a young alternative song-writer- musician, Maud-Elisa Mandeau (Le Prince Miiaou).
We get to see how her new album is created, how songs little by little take form. She plays various instruments (keyboards, guitar, bass) as she composes the music and writes lyrics.
For aspiring musicians, it's a very revealing film and it shows all the work that only culminates in the final scenes, a live show.
As one said, genius is more perspiration than inspiration, and the documentary is here to also emend that. May unsettle people who are against showing smoking on film, does not contain nudity, limited occurrences of cursing.
I don't know if there's a dubbed version for Anglo-Saxon markets.
