  • Some things to like, but had to fast forward over a lot of it...

  • Would have benefited with Tracey Ullman as the Queen

This was a dismal movie, and a drag to watch. I suppose they were trying to get viewers to feel as bad as Diana supposedly felt, and to that extent, it worked. Other that that, we didn't feel like we learned anything about her or her situation, and we kept thinking "is this over, yet"? I would not recommend this to anyone, except perhaps total Diana nuts, who are desperate for any and all things Diana, or someone suicidal, looking for that little nudge to get them to take the final step.

  • Why all the dim lighting!?

I really like.d Stana Katic in Castle, and was looking forward to this. I went through entire first season and a half in about 1 hour, trying to find something to get my attention, but couldn't .. It was clear this w as going to be one of these tiresome plot lines that drags on forever without resolution, and worse, everything is filmed in really low lighting, I suppose to create mood, in lieu of an interesting story line or interesting characters.... A disappointment...

  • Better than most in genre

Detective Kenda solves homicides while littering cigarette butts across Colorado Springs. Provides more insights, compassion and understanding over time than one typically gets in these types of shows.

  • What a great movie!

We really loved this movie - one of the best we've seen for a while. A great story, very well told, with wonderful characters, and excellent casting and acting. Much better than we expected going into it.

  • Laugh track

I can't watch TV with laugh tracks. I keep trying to figure out what all these idiots are laughing at?!

The only thing more annoying than stupid American TV with laugh tracks is BBC with laugh tracks... You'd think the Brits had more class...?

  • Love this movie

This is a Chinese romantic comedy. Hithertofor, I always thought "Chinese comedy" to be an oxymoron - I've seen a few - or tried to watch them, but they were never even close to funny. This is warm, funny, colorful, creative and a lot of fun. I'm writing this review someone will give it a try and enjoy it even 1/2 as much as I did.

This movie is both an homage to, and a satire of the great "food movies". It is in the style of the screwball comedy genre. Its not perfect, but it is really a lot of fun, and way above average. They lead actress is fabulous - on par with any great comedic actress I can think of. She just sizzles in every scene. I would love to see her in more movies. All of the cast was good, but she was really extraordinary. The movie has humor and heart.

  • Good fun, entertaining

We enjoyed this. Lots of fun, nicely done story. Solid script. Actors/characters were pretty good. The direction lacked, a bit. Same guy wrote, directed, produced and starred in it, apparently. Might have been better to bring in another director? It just didn't "pop" as much as I think it could have with the script he wrote.
