FOUR HORSEMEN is an interesting documentary, well worth a watch for most..
As reviewers have mentioned, yes, it does try to cover a few too many topics in just over 90 minutes. But for the average person, a lot of the longer, more conspiratorial, more biased 'world order' YouTube documentaries are far too long and convoluted.
Stylistically, it won some plus points with me for the smooth, easy to understand narration, but lost some for, as others have said, the slight lack of cohesion between sections, points and arguments.
One last downside - on reflection, although I enjoyed the upbeat tone of the conclusion in that 'all is not lost, we can actually change things', I agree with others that the solutions put forward are potentially not viable. That said, I think some reviewers denigrate it unfairly, a documentary is meant to document the truth and put forward observations, a narrative - the documentary makers (especially these who are not huge mainstream corporates) do not make the policy, and are not even influencing those who do, so I think it's acceptable for them to put forward suggestions, right or wrong, for the viewer to look into.
FOR THE POSITIVES! Overall, this documentary should probably be, in part at least, viewed by 90% of western civilisation who are not in finance or government and have no idea that this is going on. Those of you watching this or planning on it probably already have an idea, but think of how many around you really believe what their politicians tell them - we all know plenty.
Whether you agree with every opinion demonstrated or not, it's an eye-opening and worthy use of 90 minutes.

I don't want to summarise the plot too much, if at all, because I think this is the sort of movie you should go into a bit clueless - BUT, what can you expect is an amazing, edge-of-your seat thriller, beautiful cinematography, and great acting.
Here in the UK we miss out on ever hearing about most European movies like this one, smaller budget with unknown actors. But this one is getting a little attention for it's 'one-take' concept, in that the entire movie really was shot in one take. It's one hell of a feat, considering the intense action scenes included, but they pull it off wonderfully. It gives the feeling of being along for the ride, and personally kept my attention gripped for the entire movie.
The titular character Victoria is a complicated girl, and you are given but tidbits of information as the story goes on, never quite a complete picture but a sense of her emotions, and her reasoning for the pertinent decisions she makes throughout the story. The other actors are also all excellent, much of the dialogue was improvised and it felt very natural to me, capturing the difficulties between speakers of different languages perfectly.
The main criticism I have seen on this site is that the audience didn't understand why Victoria made certain decisions in the film (again don't want to give anything away) - but I don't understand how that's a problem. Enough was revealed on the journey that with some empathy (assuming IMDb reviewers do have some) I could easily imagine Victoria's mindset, even if I wouldn't have done the same as her - the movie is not about me! Sorry that's my rant over.
I rated it a 9 because visually it was beautiful in a very simple way, it was not at all predictable, and it had me questioning my own decisions afterwards - which is what I look for in a movie.

This show has exceeded my expectations on every level. It has some hilariously funny moments, but is much, much more than a comedy.
Covering friendships, working relationships and romantic ones, as well as those magical relationships without a label, this show is not afraid to be dark, and delve into the (sometimes) depressing realities of marriage/any long-term relationship.
I found it pulling at my heartstrings more and more each episode, as my understanding of the characters grew organically. None of the situations felt forced or particularly unrealistic, and always relatable.
I can only surmise that any negative reviewers don't have much relationship experience, because to me, there is so much to recognise in these characters and their bonds.
The writing is superb. The acting is even better, all the main characters blew me away. Mark Duplass, with an amazing portrayal of a man struggling with the fallacy of being normal, Melanie Lynskey, as the wife and mother who wants more, and especially manchild Steve Zissis, playing a complex funny man.
Cannot recommend it enough! Would usually leave room in a review for the downsides, but I can't really think of any.. please watch it! (I really want more seasons!!)
