  • All a bit John Wayne and the whitemans America

There has been a few good modern westerns epics recently, but this probably isn't one. It tries to be reverent to the indigenous tribes, but still portrays them in the main as savages who are trying to stop the inevitable push west to a manifest destiny.

It tries to be PC by referring to indigenous and aboriginals, but is ultimately condescending from a winners history.

The main criticism is that it's disjointed, but it's part of a series as far as I'm aware so I'm assuming it will follow the characters as it progresses.

A good cast, but ultimately no real depth to the story and very formula cowboys and Indians.

  • Amazing first season. The rest are iffy

Right first off. If I was ti base this review on the first season it would be 10/10. Really got behind the tables into the kitchen and the characters are great. One of those programs which would really make you appreciate restaurant staff.

But the second season was definitely not as good, tried to capture the essence of the first but couldn't quite do it.

The third season really isn't great, they have ran out of ideas for a kitchen drama and decided to do a life story of each character. Not a big fan unfortunately and it's a struggle to watch each. Best episode has nothing to do with the restaurant.

Watch the first series then pretend that's where it ends.

  • Started off good went a bit weird

I know it's about weird al Yankovic but after a while it just gets silly and incoherent. I wasn't really expecting a parody movie but a comedy biopic. If that's what you are expecting then forget it.

Lots of good cameos but overall not a great movie which is ruined by a bad script which jumps from one ridiculous scene to the next.

Even a great cast isn't enough to make it watchable. Daniel Radcliffe's acting is probably the only thing to save this movie from a razzie.

Is the guys real life so uninteresting that they felt the need to make up complete nonsense. I doubt I will watch anything so boring again.

  • Could have been good

Started off well. Good setup but fell away very quickly that you couldn't really care what happened. Very disappointing. The characters were so one dimensional I couldn't get involved in the story. Even Dermot Mulroney couldn't be bothered by the end.

After hearing lots about this film and how it was terrifying audiences I must say I was very disappointed. Pretty boring and too smart for its own good.

  • Great drama about the worst cops in Britain

Lots of twists and turns and great acting ensemble cast, but whole premise is based on bad police work which kind of leaves you scratching your head in frustration.

  • Great film which leaves you wondering

I've seen some one star reviews of this and wonder why. As a drama dealing with child abduction and the subsequent investigation I thought it was up there with the best.

You never really know what the truth is even at the end. Good uk cast and probably not one for viewers who need all the info and have no ability to come to their own conclusions.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes twists and turns and can stomach a terrible subject matter. It's well worth watching.

  • Definitely one for soprano fans

I was waiting to see this movie with some anticipation. All the main reviews and studio media said it works as a stand alone film and easily watched by non sopranos viewers, but I would suggest anyone who hasn't seen the sopranos would be a little confused and wondering about some of the character portrayals.

I'm guessing this is one of a series of planned films as it didn't really go very far into the soprano family involvement in 'this thing'.

Definitely a fan movie, but worth watching.

  • Good old Blum house ruin another good film

It's seems to be part of the course now for a blumhouse production to be terrible these days. They take a movie franchise and turn it into garbage.

In parts this felt like a comedy and in others an absolutely tragedy, by the end you are rooting for Michael Myers's. Please make it stop.

  • Good old fashioned adventure film

Took four kids of varying ages to see this film and everyone loved it. Great family adventure film with a good cast and lots of film. Dwayne Johnson and Emily a blunt had good chemistry with great support from. Jack Whitehall who brought the laughs.

  • A major let down considering the cast

Having read a few books on. Frank Sheeran I was really excited by the prospect of watching this film. The all star cast should of made it the perfect storm to eclipse goodfellas, unfortunately a mix of bad prosthetic makeup and weak script make it a real missed opportunity. DeNiro and Pesci manage to have no real depth together in any scene and even Pacino's superb acting can't save this caper. A superb Stephen Graham and some of the other well known actors manage to give great performances, unfortunately the leads are awful.

  • A tour de force of terrible acting from reeves

If John wick went undercover as a time travelling musician and took the place of Theodore "Ted" Logan I don't think Keanu reeves could have acted any worse. He looks like he would rather have been anywhere else but in that movie, and after watching it so was I. Terrible on every level.

  • Epic on the edge of your seat thriller

This London gangland series had me gripped from the start and right to the end. Great cast and character portrayal, with lots of action.

You would think it would be hard for Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders) and Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones) to be involved in a tv series with more violence and bloodshed, but you would be wrong. The over the top ultra-violence does not detract from the storyline which sees you change allegiance with each episode.

Started off very promising and had your attention, good acting but end was very confusing. Worth a watch, but don't expect clarity or resolution to the story.

  • Total utter rubbish of the highest order

Well that's 90 minutes I won't get back. Bad acting and terrible script. I had high hopes for this film but it was ridiculously uneventful.

Just when you thought it was going to be good it descended into ham acting and nonsense. The costumes didn't look right and the locations didn't match the script that well.

  • Poorly scripted and a missed opportunity

Well that's 90 minutes I won't get back. What a crock of crap. I had high hopes for this film but was sorely disappointed.

Bad acting and weird accents. There were a few good bits but they were few and far between. I found myself questioning the production and costumes as the film was so poor. Not recommended.

  • A 15 rated movie aimed at 12 year olds

This is what happens when a major studio tries to go horror. Very weak script, in fact I'm sure I could have written a more interesting story.

The story line lacks any imagination and really could have explored the actual slenderman murder case which might have been a better story rather than this high school bore fest.

Very little suspense and zero horror, couldn't wait for it to end. Don't waste your money or your time.

  • Worth watching. Kingsley is his usual brilliance

Not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews. Everyone seems to want it to be about retribution and not just a snapshot on a period of a fictional war criminals life.

I found it well acted and a good story which unfortunately could have been set in a number of countries around the world. Enjoy it for what it is.
