This is one of the best, if not the best of these "short" dramas I've seen. Most of the acting is good and the leads are great. What sets it apart is the writing is great and doesn't contain some of the weird stuff you find in many of these shorts. The leads have great chemistry and it actually feels like they are improvising many of their lines with comic intent. Joey Hayworth as the clueless husband is hysterical. His hapless partner in crime, Lana Sullivan is also funny as is the lead's brother-Landon. The last 10 minutes when Sophia gets her revenge against Lana is must see! This one is also shown as The Heiress's path to payback.

The two leads are fabulous. Alex Pychtin as Nicolas Powell is a great actor and has such a great voice! The actress playing Madalyn is adorable and played the part of his young wife wonderfully. The actress playing the bad girlfriend of Madalyn's ex was not very believable. Why would anyone leave Madalyn for her? Anyhow, story was cute and the love story between Nicolas and Madalyn was believable. There was a lack of over the top drama in this such as the normal slapping found in these dramas so if that is not your cup of tea, this one is for you. Just sit back and be soothed by Mr. Pychtin's voice.

Jake Hobbs as Leopold has got to be one of the top, hottest actors currently in these "short" dramas. This is the typical storyline seen in so many, rich girl (Skylar) hiding her identity from her weak husband till he eventually (always after 3 years-lol) dumps her. Always the abusive mother-in-law and an abusive "new" fiancé-Judy. The Fiancé in this one is hysterically bad and over the top. Skylar beautiful and classy and is so superior to Judy it is laughable, especially at the end. This one is also seen as The Rise of the veiled heiress. Also check out Fated deal with Mafia King (also found as Bound by fate:the mafia King). Jake Hobbs as the Mafia King is smoking hot.
