I gave this 3 stars as it was watchable...until the last 20 minutes were so cringe alongside the acting being Z list embarrassment I had to change my rating to 2 stars.

Words can't explain how ridiculously embarrassing the last 20 mins are though, it's like any acting skills were all used up prior and some person who had never acted in their life was thrown in.

Shame as the plot could have been done well if they actually tried. There's alot you can do with phycological films like this, but they had no idea what route they wanted to go with and it really does show as it's just a Mish mash and all over.

Can anyone tell me what I just watched?

I loved the plot, well the thought of the plot, but am I missing something? I'm certainly not stupid, but the last half of the movie left me more confused than ever.

This one of my top 3 most laughable, embarrassing horrors and I've watched probably nearly all of them.

The acting was like watching a soap opera, maybe even more cheesy? Everything was just full of cringe... At one point I thought maybe I was watching scary movie or scream.

Big yikes, wouldn't bother.

Not great, by any stretch but watchable if you've run out of other options. I don't feel like i wasted my time. I'll go that far.

No where near as good as any of the other escape room type movies.

I thought this was going to be pretty good with how the first half of the movie was, after that it just got boring. I ended up turning it off 27 mins from the end as it was a yawn fest.

I found this movie super surprising, and way too sad. Usually i don't like sadness in my horrors/thrillers but you really don't see or know what's coming here.

Certainly worth a watch.

I loved this because it was based on true events. Thus you can't ask for too much drama, or action if it never happened, always worth a watch.

If this was just a movie on it's own, it would have been boring, and slow, but luckily it wasn't.

I just have no idea.

After reading a lot of other reviews explaining, i see where they were trying to come from, but half of the story made little to no sense, and i don't know.

I really don't, i just confussed.

I would have loved this no matter what to be fair as i am a huge fan of all the actors, and the franchise in general but this wasn't a let down. I don't think it was close to as good as the first, but still a decent zombie film i would watch again.

After finishing this series i am at a loss for words! i don't think anything i type could explain how ridiculously well-made this is.

This is far from your average boring ghost story, that i actually really dislike. The haunting of hill house is on a complete different level, one that i don't personally think has been found or indeed made before.

I won't give spoilers away, as there would be a lot of them but everything in this series is well done. Well acted, well written, in fact as close to perfect as could be.

It is also so complex, i would say complicated but i guess that depends on your mind set and mental ability as this series screens 7 different view points, stories, people, time lines, up down back forth round and round, the present, past, and future.

If you could get your mind around that i would give it a watch, but pay attention!

Before i started watching this, i was expecting something more along the lines or a thriller or a horror, but man i wasn't disappointed when i was wrong about it.

This movie has a way of pulling on every heart string you have, and it's the first movie in such a long time that i have watched, that i have felt as if i was in the place of both the mother, and son. I was sitting on the edge of my sofa, willing them both on, may or may not have cried.

This is an exceptional work of art.

I have been desperate to watch this movie, and ultimately it was quite a let down for me. Maybe because i thought this would be something different to what it is, i can't be sure but i found most of this movie boring and i spent more than that waiting for something else to happen as there was quite a lot of hints and pokes that i thought would be leading up to something that never came.

This really wasn't too shabby at all. Good acting, and i generally liked the plot. The only downside is i think they could have easily done a lot more with this movie to have made it a whole lot better.

Wouldn't say this is a horror, but not a bad thriller by a long shot.

This has me interested from the get-go. I must admit I'm not usually a fan of these spooky bedroom type situations, but this is far from your bedroom goes bump in the night movie.

This could have been a little more intense, and in-depth, as far as story line goes, but the story that they have given you i think is well done, well acted and over all quite a good watch.

I wouldn't say this is a horror, at all, but it makes for a good thriller.

This movie is focused on one young lad called Bart when has Asperger's and has an obsession with watching love camera footage of his overnight guests. He's a little qwirky, likeable but that's as far as the movie goes for me. Just not enough plot.

This movie came across as slightly cheesy, sex filled, yikes type of movie at the start but after a couple minutes you realise that it's absolutely not that. This movie is full of well known actors/actresses, I liked the script and the over all plot of the movie which is you can have one, and only one fantasy but the rule is you must see it out to the end, no matter what and that's where things get interesting.

There is a couple of good twists that I wasn't expecting, and at no point did I think I knew what was going to happen. I actually really enjoyed the whole movie but of course there could have been a couple things added to make it a 10/10 for me but I was more than happy with how this played out.

This was brilliant, even if it was dubbed as I'm not usually a fan. If you're expecting lots of action and drama this isn't the mo or for you, it is much more subtle in its ways but it hits hard if you understand what's happening.

Why? Why am I still watching this? That's exactly what I keep asking myself through the whole film.

Is this a $5 budget movie? Why was it even made in the first place? Who are these people that rated this over 1*?

This has to be the most pointless, boring, waste of money and time movie I have ever watched. The first 50 minutes where close to unbareable, and the last 30 where only slightly better but I can't help say this movie just had nothing to it.

Please don't bother.

I wasn't expecting too much from Doctor sleep but I very much enjoyed this the whole way through. There were no points where I was bored, and the movie kept a decent pace the whole way without dragging the plot out.

A couple bits I didn't understand, but that's my own thought process more than anything, definitely worth a watch if you like the shining.
